@@Isiejeme0829 Most Gambians would have had a school teacher or lecturer who would be from Ghana, Sierra leone or Nigeria. More so before the dictatorship began, when many high school teachers would also be other races from Asia and Europe particularly Irish nationals, British national and even French nationals. Most were hired others came through missionaries this remains to some extent. Credit and thanks to all of them, but many were put off by a dictatorship in the country some left some stayed.

There is no country in West Africa where you will not find a large colony of Nigerian mostly Igbo merchants. Igbos are the greatest merchants of West Africa. You also find a lot of Yorubas all over west Africa. Actually one out of five Afican is a Nigerian. And also all Bantu people that inhabits central , southern and parts of East Africa migrated from southern Nigeria and Easter Cameroons thousands of years ago. So all Africans have some kind of Nigerian connection. I love Nigerians. They are a great nation of peoples.

I’m a Nigerian who has lived with many Gambians in Europe. I found that they’re very kind to people of other nationalities. Overall very peaceful people to be with from what I know 👍🏾
