Gambian pilgrims join other pilgrims descend on the plains of Arafat .

After the successful completion of Umrah, Gambian pilgrims, alongside over a million Muslim worshippers, currently on pilgrimage in the holy city of Makkah, are gearing up for another sacred trip to mina. The pilgrims will converge on mina on the 8th day of the lunar month of hajj, where they will spend the day and night in prayer and supplication before proceeding to the plains of Arafat on the 9th day of the month.
