Lmao, Point of correction sanna sabally, do always remember that the Gambia is coming to write a history of its own , a history of masked and untold stories that shall never be forgotten for posterity, so everything that will be said should be exact and very precise for record purposes. You have said that you do not want to throw mud on everyone with regards to the transition of the agreed term limit of your junta in office from six months in power and to stand and contest as an elected government but you in fact just generally threw a very dirty historical mud on the faces of everyone in brufut and sukuta. You could have said that the then alikalo of brufut alhagie khalifa sannoh (who yaya jammeh later took as his adopted father) and the then alikalo of sukuta alhagie momodou narr cham were the ones who took it upon themselves , selected some people among their loyalist and came to the state house to meet up with your junta about their proposals to you people in continuing to participate in the then upcoming 1996 election, in fact it was even rumoured that yaya jammeh made a deal with those two alikalos to come to the state house with some delegation and propose this particular idea of running for elections in 1996 to them in front of the television cameras to be view by all Gambians so that the population can be made to believe that they were convinced to stand and contest for the election. I would like to inform you and the rest of the Gambian people in no uncertain terms that those above mentioned alikalos were not representing the entire people of brufut and sukuta in that regard but they were in fact logically trying to build a concrete wall in defence of their respective reigns as alikalos in their various towns. I was 19 years old then newly graduated from high school and fully conscious and aware of virtually everything that was happening around me. I remembered your junta shortly after your that meeting in the state house visited brufut and held a meeting on the brufut primary school ground which i have attended and then you proceeded to the women horticultural garden. I in fact am from one of these above mentioned towns and i was aware of this particular meeting your council held with them in the state house which was covered by GRTS then called GRTVS and i can even vividly remember all the participants who came there from my town some of whom are not alive today. I remembered after the concession of your junta to their proposal to compete in the 1996 elections some of the elders were jubilating, shouting and waiving their hands in the air as if they were praising god for answering to their prayers. So to make it clear it was not sukuta and brufut who generally decided to send that delegation to you but it was their respective alikalos who had arranged that particular meeting with you people on their own ( then you were in prison ). However i found some of your testimonies to be truthful and your claim of some people coming to your council in the state house from the above mentioned towns for a round table meeting was indeed also true but the claim of brufut and sukuta people generally pleading to your junta to contest for the 1996 election was totally bogus and false because at that time some of the people who were a little educated and knew the dangers of military rules and the harms that it can cause to bilateral and multilateral relations between the affected country and the civilized democratic world and the dangers it had already caused to some african countries ( eg , ghana, nigeria, liberia, burkina faso ''after thomas sankara'' etc) were totally against the ideas of your junta to continue ruling our country and i must confess that i was among the people who silently but strongly and vehemently condemned the idea and intentions of your junta to continuing ruling our country. Anyway i must praise and thank you for the courage and willingness you have in accepting to come to confess for all the crimes you have done to the Gambian people and all the unimaginable sufferings you have meted onto individual families all around the country , may the families of the victims find a place in their hearts to forgive you and the rest is left to god and the dead victims to decide for themselves your faith on the day of reckoning , and i also thank the TRRC board of staffs for their ethics and professionalism displayed during the executions of their services and the good job they are rendering to the state especially the honourable commissioner mr ceesay, the lead counsel Mr essa faal, the imams and the pastor and the entire board of staffs for the maturity displayed at various levels even during complex hearings . I conclude with the famous TRRC quotes '' NEVER AGAIN'' shall we be lead to that pathway leading to the flames of hell and the pits of immature graves '' NEVER AGAIN '' shall we become prisoners of no just cause in our very own country of birth..
