We use Rv trip wizard , and Waze. That way we know the fastest, but know if our trailer will fit. No high train tracks either 😉

We will be at Gamble Rogers at the end of April for a week on the River side. Stay here several times, a hard park to get in. I have had these reservations for a year. Born and raised in Florida and it is almost impossible to get in our state parks.

Not much to see in Flagler Beach 'the town' area. We moved into Beverly Beach at the 1st of the year while we wait for our 5'er to be built and finally got down to Flagler Beach this last Friday and was surprised to find not much. Glad you enjoyed your time.

It was definitely a sleepy little town but we liked what we saw! Beverly Beach doesn't seem like a bad spot to wait on a camper 😍 enjoy the beach for us!

Another great video! Google tried to take us on that road with our 13.5 foot tall 5th wheel, so it's good I checked the route with an RV friendly app ahead of time and avoided it. Flagler is one of our favorite stops... we've stayed at Gamble Rogers 3 times, once in Riverside and the other 2 Beachfront. We usually like to try new places, so it says a lot that we keep going back there! Glad you tried High Tides, fun restaurant with nice people and a great view. Keep the good content coming... looking forward to seeing where else you end up!

Haha good catch on Steph saying she'd been bad! When we were leaving Blue Spring we pulled up to the dump station and stopped - she jumped clean out of the window of the truck 😳 she had never done that and so rarely gets scolded that we said she was still pouting from it 😅 oh I bet those sunrises are amazing to see!

Their BBQ sandwiches were really good and we found some Muscadine Jelly that I was excited about...my Dad’s Mom used to make Muscadine jam (that had the hulls of the grapes in it). I think I like the jelly better, the texture of the hulls was a bit yucky. Thanks so much for always answering me. I really appreciate and enjoy it. Y’all are such a sweet couple! Google has done this to me several times and I know what you mean i freaked out thinking i was going to destroy my rig.... i wish there was a filter as well! You should purchase the Garmin 890 RV GPS. During setup you input the size of your rig and it will route you based on those dimensions. Worth the money spent and save you the worry while traveling.

There is also a Truck Drivers book that lists bridge height, weight limits, etc. It is my "go to" book when pulling rv in the eastern U.S. available at most truck stops.

google maps with RV has done me wrong a few times. ended up turning around on a very narrow 2 lane rd no shoulder in Mississippi and also ended up on a field access rd in NE with a 32ft class c. RV GPS Garmin is on the list to get.

I just looked at this park. It is booked out through Feb. 2023. Only a couple 1 night stays are available. How far out did you book in order to get your site?

We actually lucked out and snagged an opening last minute! It seems like a lot of people cancel their reservations at Florida state parks, and we got lucky 🍀

We use Banfield with PetSmart! They're all over te country, so her records transfer to wherever we are. So far we've had really good luck with them 😊

Google maps is getting worse and worse as algorithms make more and more of the decisions. Constantly rerouting you without alerting, telling you to end in the middle of a road and walk across lawn to get to the destination, routing you behind stores with locked “deliveries only” gates. Telling you to turn onto two small side streets to avoid perfectly normal intersections.

Yes! We've always used it but getting a little frustrated with it...might be time to find another option 🤷‍♀️
