Tear, switching is an incredibly powerful tool, make sure to do it often. Some items make switching even more powerful. Also, dodging completely stops damage and delete projectiles, use it during the Ent fight to not get hit by the fists. After each mini boss and boss, you meet the spider lady that can upgrade skulls. 10 fragments for common, 30 for rare, and 100 for unique. Commons drop 5 fragments, rare 11, unique 23, and legendary 44. After the miniboss, you get a skull, quintessence, and an item. The quintessence is basically an active item with extra benefits, like health and attack speed.

Hey Brett, here's some tips for Skul that aren't well explained by the game! 1: Some skulls, like the Carleon Recruit and Shieldbearer skulls have "concentration". This means you need to hold down the attack button to charge up a more powerful attack. 2: The colours of doors have meaning: Orange flames give items, gold flames (with gold around them) give gold and green flames (with skulls) give skulls. I highly recommend taking every green door you find and recycling the skulls you get from there for bones. 3: Skulls have upgrade costs related to their level and rarity, but the chain will always be 10 - 30 - 100. If you stick with one skull from the very beginning and recycle all others, you can easily gather 140 bones by the time you've cleared the second zone. 4: Learn to play as Little Bone! While he might lack many powerful abilities, his head toss ability deals a lot of damage and has one of the shortest cooldowns ingame (especially since Rebone, his second ability, instantly resets the cooldown). This means certain items that deal damage when skills are used can be spammed infinitely letting you do a ton of damage. Furthermore, this will help you gather the skulls you need to upgrade to a legendary. 5: When fighting the "heroes", their blue charge up special attacks can be interrupted! If you deal enough damage to them while they're charging up or using the ability, you'll interrupt them and leave them vulnerable for a short amount of time, letting you deal free damage while they can't fight back. 6: Pay attention to your damage types. Reading the skulls will tell you what damage they do, so taking a physical damage upgrade when you deal magical damage won't do anything; and vice versa. 7: Last of all, the Fox and Ogre can be interacted with again to get another Skull/Item for 5 dark quartz (which is really cheap). You can recycle the skulls for extra bones and later on, the items for extra gold.

To be honest. This run went really Well, taking in the fact that this was his second. I can offer some information to make the journey through this game a little bit more easier. There is a dash, wich should make dodging damage easier than just jumping. The golden Doors usually have money or items in them. Green Doors have a skull. Purple doors are the Shop, but thats not too hard to quess. When switching from a skull to another it usually creates an unique effect wich can help deal more damage or just help with something else. Skulls have three classes: speed, balance and power. Speed= agility. power= damage. balance= something in between. Hope these informations can help out any new player who happens to be reading on them.

(Tips-learn it) NPC:okey before you fucked up(like i did in the past )listen-as game pass you rescue new demon army henchmen they give you staff you can as well paid them 10 black stones to get more stuff they are: fox hunter- give you skull on the start of the run if you talk to him you can talk to him again to gain 1 more skull for 10 stones ogre- give you item and can give you 1 more item for 10 stones evil druid- don;t talk to druid but to thing next to him it will give you buff death knight-giving him stones upgrade castle Item combo-items have combos soo if you have same type of item the buff they will give will be stronger soo read item and type and buff type Skulls- each skull posses type that they batlestyle is based on power,speed,balace some item work with some of this types soo read before you buy items like you did each skull can evolve from common to legendary but you need to talk to arachne after each boss fight each skull cost based on ther evolution as well they give more bones if they are more rare destroy give form common-5 bones rare-11 bones epic-23 bones legendary-44 bones to uprage skull you need for common - 10 bones rare -25 bones epic-100 bones legendary is higest and can;'t be upraged random NPC: they apper randomy on the map and they can give you random stuff and here what they can give: random permament for run buff item for cheap amount of gold skull for bit of health reset skills for gold(get new skill from the skull) give you bones for free soo try to find them ther are as well sometimes tresure rooms or hidden tresure rooms soo explore and touch walls becouse sometimes ther might be free money

You would probably like Rockstar, the one skull you dismantled that had the Amp. Really fun, has a stagewide ability when you charge him up to 100 meter. Otherwise, a friendly tip! On the items they have two categories, try and match them best you can, but fill up on items first THEN get to the matching game! Duelist was really fun in my opinion. Allows for super chunking of bosses with a Legendary skull.

So some advice to hopefully make more runs smoother an enjoyable, try to pick up items that damage type matches the skull your using. Gambler is a magic man with blue numbers, so magic damage benefits him. As well as try to pair skulls that match damage with him. So two magic skulls instead of just one physical and on magic. But I do hope to see more from you, still love your stuff after all these years!

You can upgrade basic skulls with 10 bones, Rare skulls with 30 and Uniques with 100. If you want to go for a meme build, go for the Carleon recruit and drown the enemy in goons.
