I have been Gambling 50 years, i have found some bookie staff , not all are very envious when i won. I have actually witnessed them Laughing when people lose. Basically when you Lose they don't care.I don't gamble much now, i couldn't stand the jealousy and envy when you are sucessful.If i bet now which is only occasionally i bet online then i don't have to come in contact with those dreadful traits. Jealousy and envy are both repugnent.so glad to be away from those EVIL people.

Interesting to hear from a bookies point of view. Online has killed the bookies. Why go to a shop when you can gamble on your phone, tablet or laptop?

Someone gets stabbed every 2 hours where I live, it is known as the insanely rough bastard's estate. My mate Ugly the face slasher- that's his nickname used to have a bad gambling habit. In the local betting office the staff greet you with a punch in the face, (not really hard or anything), it's a greeting thing. Some of the older people think the estate has gone down over the years
