A landscape version of this rounded shell design would be interesting. D-Pad and buttons left and right of the display just like a GBA. Would be interesting to know if the display can not be any brighter or if they intentionally limited the backlight to save battery. Or if they just messed it up. And maybe the membrane feels so strange because it stretches and flexes unevenly over this length.

Interesting but what I'd really like would be actual clones of handheld consoles loaded with each systems library. Surely it would cost more but if we could buy clones of the Turbo Express, Lynx, NGPC, Wonderswan, Game and Watch, Game Gear, etc. I'd be all over them. The emulation would likely be wonky, the hardware shell not quite 1:1 and the controls well off the quality of the original but I can dream can't I?

I've been wondering about something similar for ages. Why do they load these clones up with 600 games and use repeats to fill the space? They aren't worrying about having rights to the games, clearly, so why not just throw the entire Famicom library on? I'd buy that in a heartbeat.

You should try connecting the device on to the computer to see if you can change the roms. So you can put your own games.. sometimes these random devices can edit those cheap games.
