The game boy had such badass soundtracks 😃 the game boy chiptune sounded so unique when well done. Some of my favourite of all time are the intro of Fortress of Fear ( my first video game 😢 fun fact, as I was typing this the Fortress of Fear music just popped out of nowhere and gave me chills ) some music from BattleToads (stage4) and Nemesis, Nemesis really has an amazing soundtrack, Its sad its not recognised more 🤔

The original Game Boy will always remain one of my favorite handhelds. The overworld theme, "Hell Field", from Gargoyle's Quest blew my mind back then. Super Mario Land 2, in a totally different genre, also has some memorable tunes.

That tune at 27:22 is from the Game Boy version of Battletoads, not Monster Max. Although David Wise did do both soundtracks, and Monster Max has some killer tunes!

Jurassic Park is one of my absolute favorite GB OSTs, and then Mickey’s Dangerous Chase came right after it. Not as good, but was the first GB game I ever played after Tetris.

It totally is. IMO, it's the best track on the gameboy, (as a kid I would put in my headphones and just listen to it) and it was used in a game you had to mail order with 7up UPCs and you only heard it if you stopped playing the game and just let it site idle for a bit. Crazy how hidden such a good track is.
