Wraith portal is meant to travel a distance without taking damage even in storm. It's part of her kit. Pathfinder's Zipline when energized reduces damage when being shot. It being able to reduce storm damage is something else. Cringe strat but a smart one abusing the DMG reducing factor.

Wraith's portal negates damage, Pathfinder's energized zipline reduces damage. Pretty different. One is meant to work in storm while the other is the cause of a skill being overlooked.

It literally says reduces damage by 50%. Not bullet damage. Whether it's zero or half, the concept is the same. Avoid taking damage.

one thing they can fix with the zone ending is not have it completely close off and have a last fight stand off zone and not leave the winner to r&g. it's stupid and unwatchable for me. i'm here to watch skill in gameplay and teamwork not exploits and cheap tricks to win. the winner should be the person who hits the last bullet like most other fps games.

Wraith's portal is intended to be used to not take damage, that's the whole thing about being in the void. Pathfinder's energized Zipline should only reduced damage taken by players not by zone since that's the whole point of his Zipline to travel long distances even at the cost of being shot by players.

Exploit? Path has always had this with his ult talent. It was 25% before and was ass, but always worked with the ring. It's a simple fix, just remove the ability to mitigate ring damage.

Pathfinder ziplines should have been patched a long time ago when he became meta with his electric ziplines. We already knew about this and people used it for Ranked especially the predators or Hiswattson. Now we are seeing it in ALGs but devs usually aren't aware of their own game mechanics and how the community uses things. Also, I thought you were going to talk about Skittlecakes switching optics to quick scope players faster like its COD. What skittlecakes doing is not intended for the game but can be seen as an exploit due to the unfair advantage. So running into someone switching optics with a charged Sentinel can be seen as Cheating. But that is something for the devs to fix like the Pathfinder ziplines in gas/zones.

Maybe I'm oblivious to it, but what does switching optics do? I just assumed it was showing his skill of being able to hit a shot, swap sights and hit another shot.

@@DevinHeida its messing with the game mechanics. Sentinel cannot shoot that fast in rapid fire. Switching optics removed the thing that makes Sentinel balanced
