Hopefully a lot of anglers will adapt to a lead system where the fish is only left with the rig and not with a leader with an x amount of mainline!

As has already been said what's the difference between this lead clip setup & the PB Products Hit'n'Run? For one thing the PB Products will be less prone to tangles as the hooklink will sit straighter on the cast. The inline does look interesting but again the way the hooklink sits will lead to tangles and they're too heavy for most PVA bag options.

Hi, Are Pole Pisition still making the Lead Clip running systems or the Inline System shown in the video? Thanks David

Back in the day people didn't use bolt rigs... as bite indication was important to the rod tip so the rig just pulled through lead swivel. Then the bolt rig hooked the fish for you. Now the marketeers say the fish can use the lead to through the hook... but wait you can buy this clever expensive lead gizmo so the the lead can be running.... you know what ... just use a normal lead with a split shot or swivel and bead and guess what.... its a running lead... round and round we go... when is stops... I guess we are all out of money buying overpriced gizmos that increase anxiety and the need to BUY...

How does an inch at the hook end equate to 2” at the other end? An inch movement is an inch movement regardless if it’s being pulled through a swivel or not?….
@FelixIsGood3 жыл бұрын
As said in the comment above google "Block and tackle" to understand that.
@lloydradford46133 жыл бұрын
I stand corrected. I’ve just done my own experiment and it does double the indication the other end of the lead. Mind blown!

that was made to catch anglers more than fish. most seasoned carpers have a setup they trust and very rarely try new kit

question is, how does this work with rig tubing. since 99% of venues require atleast12-18" of tubing to be used. i dont think there's any decent venue in the midlands what would allow a naked mainline / leader these days.

Sorry but the Fox Edges in-line tadpoles are in my opinion the best for a fix/running lead set up. This just looks too messy around the clip. It’s a no from me.

@terryshove59263 жыл бұрын
Or you could use a running rig 🙄
@FelixIsGood3 жыл бұрын
Yes you could, but something which is true is that the double line raises the bite indication.
@lloydradford46133 жыл бұрын
Double the bite indication is a load of rubbish. 1inch of movement is 1inch of movement regardless of its being pulled through a swivel?
@FelixIsGood3 жыл бұрын
@@lloydradford4613 That's proven wrong, because one end is clipped to the lead the fish pulls 2 inch of line for each inch he swims away except when the system doesn't work like it should. That is how a Block and tackle system works.

Yes, it works similar as PB Hit and Run. I use both brands. They work great. Dumping the lead is not enough for fish safety. These systems work much better. Also the bite indication is much better. Strategy/Pole Position has Dutch consultants, but it houses under the compagny Spro, which is part of the well known brand Gamakatsu. Ps. Why the dislikes?

Firstly you Should get your facts right Bro!! Pole position is actually a Japanese company!! Who are now moving into Europe and they have there European headquarters in Holland!! Anyway, moving on from that. You mentioned, there inline system, which I actually do a lot off, I wouldn't fancy using an inline system, fishing in the margins where there could be lots of snags (or even at 20 to 30 wraps in weed etc) and have a 5OZ lead bouncing about that I could not drop off!! Sorry Bro, but I much prefer the Korda system. Where at least you have the option. You can choose to drop the lead or not, depending on the circumstances!! Take care and Tight lines (hope you don't get snapped off) using this "NEW SYSTEM" to many times!! 🤔🤫
@allenpritchard27153 жыл бұрын
Wouldn’t mind but you have to buy leads the leaders ect separately why can’t they just give you the complete package all on one
@Enpassantful Жыл бұрын
Just use an inline lead, job done.
@youriigar6028 Жыл бұрын
When your main line breaks or leader breaks then your fish can lose the lead but it will be still stuck with your rig and the piece of main line/leader and how many centimenters of that are still on with this inline lead system your carp will only get the rig with the hook stuck with him the rest he loses if the line breaks, but beside that its the same

if your line snaps the fish is going to be trailing a load of line. With this setup it will only be left with the hooklength.

so one don't drop the lead and the other your advised to push the tail rubber on so hard it cant drop the lead, so why use a lead clip system in the first place, the inline one just looks like a copy of Korda COB system but without the lead drop off. and lets be honest its not hard to make inline and standard lead clip systems into running rigs by giving the swivel a little pinch. all i can see these really do is make every little movement of your bait so sensitive that people will end up foul hooking more fish can imagine just how many times your hook bait gets investigated by a fish before getting a proper bite now you'll think every one is a fish on and i would imagine most of the time miss it because its not self hooked itself as a bolt rig should do and other times foul hook them
@youriigar6028 Жыл бұрын
You push the tail rubber on hard witth the lead clip system cause you dont want to lose your lead do you xD, if you want to have it like a lead drop of system then dont push it on hard
