In a world where everyone is trying to bring back the "good ole days", any innovation is refreshing and welcome. I love it. And the pedal has some great sounds in it.

Can't wait to see all the different ways people use this pedal, it's going to be a tough few weeks waiting on the preorder! Loving all these demos, you can see how much fun everyone's been having experimenting with it, they really knocked this pedal out of the park!

After watching all the reviews, Chris Buck/Anderson’s/Pete Thorn. I was still on the fence, due to the cost. I was waiting for your review most of all, because this pedal really shines as an ambient tool in the arsenal. You never disappoint, I got to see exactly what this pedal can do and some great ideas on how to layer it with my current pedals. Watching your videos has really brought me more inspiration and focus towards my playing and tone. I have some great reverb pedals that work well with the soundscapes I create, but I feel they lack the authenticity of a natural spring sound. This pedal has the authenticity and much more. I can’t wait to try it out.

The Spring knob controls the traditional spring reverb. The pedal can be used just like an old fashioned traditional spring reverb. The OPTICAL brings in a second reverb that is being controlled by the light sensors. The different light sensors detect the vibrations of the actual spring and use that detected vibration to create the signal for the different light modes. Different light sensors detect different parts along the length of the springs. Then the modes change the modulation of the effect for the optical part of the reverb. The gate is center 0 and to the left is MORE gate and to the right it is in reverse.
@tobyeatsworms25293 жыл бұрын
I absolutely loved the feedback mode, but because sometimes the harmonics accentuated by the reverb were in conflict or "out of tune" with what you play! The clash between the odd notes in the reverb and the chords is what peaked my interest!

Found my answer. Wet signal is definitely a result of the optical sensors picking up spring tank vibration. The sweeping light indicates where the optic sensor is "seeing" the vibration. The lights are only indicators. All said, this IS a new school reverb creation. Brilliant! Source video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qWHFkpKmect8q5o

The word of the day is: Midi-er 😉 🤘🤠🤘 If the sensors do more than look cool with the lights... Sensing spring vibration or light responses? then doing what? Showing a nice light to go with the great sounds? Or actually affecting the sounds? In other words, LIGHTS for a gimmick?, (even though it sounds amazing?) Or lights affecting the sound? I think it sounds brilliant. Aren't the lights just to add visual appeal? A visual meter? Crap! You just said, "gimmick" Enough. Lol You beez the best Bee

Looks and sounds awesome. But I’m such a simpleton when it comes to using effects. Other than a Wah pedal, I just use the reverb, delay and effects in my amp 90% of the time. When I use pedals that have so many settings, I end up spending more time messing with the pedal than actually playing music. Lol

Hey Bea, hope all is well mate! I am not a post-rock, ambient, shoe-gaze or whatever player, but I've been absolutely inspired by your sound. I've tried to build a small board using a CBA Bliss Factory, CTC Splash Reverb, Dophix Michelangelo OD/Distortion, OBNE Visitor and Keeley Eccos... But I also usually play at night and can't really turn up above bedroom levels. I do have a Waza Air Wireless, but as big as it sounds, I prefer the sound of my amp. Would you say that you can't really get that atmospheric sound at low volume, am I chasing something unobtainable unless I can turn up? BTW... Loved this demo, just like all of your others. Your playing is beautiful and truly inspiring.

Innovation drives market prices on initial entry of nearly any product, and money drives innovation. Eventually copies come out, and the original manufacturer then drops prices. Economics are annoying, but time should sort it out. Unless someone famous uses it then we're screwed! 🙃🤭
