Thanks for the update, the ambient temp in my office went up 15 degrees while watching this! (you can run two types of audio filter: first just record just the heater, and subtract it from the audio, or second isolate the frequency of it and lower it!)

Is this the 1500x1500mm? What size is that workbench you're making it on?

hey Jeff do you recommend the QueenBee pro for 3D relief carving, and how do you find the machine so far, with the performance and all.

If you can get a lot of wood chips you can get "free" heat off compost. A 10 parts wood chips to 1 part manure mix will let you build a large compost pile with coils of pipes inside to run a coolant to bring the heat inside. Takes a lot of material but you will have heat at the cost of a pump and fan along with getting a large amount of compost once the pile is done. They make a 2 tone plastic sheet you can cnc or laser cut to have engravings that really stand out so good for making signs or for control panels as you can label lights and switches. Will the CNC be strong enough for milling in aluminum or brass?

I've seen those compost heaters...very "cool" but a lot of work for work. that engraving sounds cool...yes this machine can do metals as well

How big of a table did you build to hold the machine?

how are you liking the QueenBee? I'm seriously thinking about buying the 1500 x 1500 one, a serious upgrade from my homemade Root 3 CNC

Mr Real Martian, I had the pleasure to see a laser CNC chop off over 300KG out of a 16 wheeler truck. They rebuilt the truck's chassi in such a way that solid metal was replaced by intricate mesh, and fitted and welded, shaving of the 300KG - it is still being patented and will save tons on fuel. I know the power of CNC and put in the correct hands, it can do wonders!

Looks like your running out of space to work. Jealous. Would love to have one of those for wood working.

youtube videos are really starting to suck. It's become like analog tv in the 70's, long intros, tons of small talk, and commercials every second. Googe high jacked youtube. As I scroll through I see an unopened box near the video end, wow how exciting!!

My very young kid found online that the perfect time for an intro is 9 seconds, I concur, 9 or less.
