Thank you, yes I really hope these products can help in making life much easier with prosthetics

My husband's A/K left leg. To take apart his lower leg from the socket you need a wrench to unscrew 4 bolts. Quite difficult!

Hi, yes I also did like that previous. but this is much quicker, safer and more convenient

I live in Nova Scotia Canada (what a sad place if you need medical treatment). I was told at 59, prosthetics were not offered to people over 50. THAT is age discrimination. Free Health equates to NO HEALTH care in Nova Scotia, Canada.

Hi Morgan! I’m sad to hear that, all amputees should have the right for prosthetics

@@ChristofferLindheTripleAmputee I know. I think it's age discrimination.

I bet a student machinist could whip up a passive prosthetic leg, and yet they cost thousands and thousands of dollars to buy without insurance. So dumb. No chance of going over to America for custom (socket) work?

@@bilbo_gamers6417 not with this COVID garbage. But you are right about the machinist thing...there are You Tube videos on how to make them...and with just a pair of stubbies.

Basically Stubbies are great for most things Chris but without this you need to take everything off to put on your Stubbies so you end up changing out your Legs as much because it is a process to get it done.
@ChristofferLindheTripleAmputee2 жыл бұрын
Yes, this is one of the biggest game changer for me, since I use stubbies several times a day and have both indoor and outdoor stubbies
@pagzplay2 жыл бұрын
I like this because you get frustrated because it takes so long to get dressed or do anything because without it you have to take everything off to do anything so it takes a long time to get it done and I get frustrated.

Pants was a big hassle for me now I can change in seconds.

@@ChristofferLindheTripleAmputee Pants have always been a big hassle for me too and I like that with what you make you are able to do it in seconds. I always wore basketball snap pants because with the snaps down the sides you can get them on and off easier and faster and you can unsnap them and make adjustment to your Equipment and Prosthetics without taking them off every time.

It is a game changer trust me and I recommend it.

With this it makes you want to buy and wear other shoes Chris because I have Shoes that I have never worn because it is easier to wear the Shoes that you already had on your feet instead of trying to change them with your feet on your legs.
@ChristofferLindheTripleAmputee2 жыл бұрын
Yes, me too. Mabey I should start changing more shoes :)

I really like that you can take your feet off to change your shoes instead of trying to bend over and do it.

Yes, I agree that's so much more easier

After a long day of work, instead of taking off your shoes, you can take off the whole dang foot lol. I hope that the commercialization of brain interface technology will allow for improvements in stuff like prosthetic hands. Computerization and fine motors in arms are easy, but getting the data is very difficult. If you can go directly into the brain, you might be able to have enough data to operate a prosthetic hand exactly like a normal human hand. Get an algorithm to decode enough neuronal signals in a certain part of the brain and you can get rid of the nerves entirely.
