Serum - they are basically very light oil based hair softners. Absolutely optional for curly hair not necessary like water based products (curl cream / leave-in conditioner). Curl cream/leave-ins already have those natural and synthetic oils in required quantities. Straight hair - yes the same can be used. Like a guy/girl with short hair/pixie cut can use the same cream to fix and moisturise their style in place. However it wont make hair curly

Hi dipika, I have a question, Sorry beforehand for writing such a long question: since past few months say September last year I have been noticing that my hair have become very poofy like when people who have wavy hair but they don't know. However I didn't had this kind of hair scenario before that, it is very much noticeable. Second thing is that my baby hair around forehead hairline have grown and they are in curls. Like how can my hair texture became like this suddenly. This happened when I moved back to Delhi from Shimla. Earlier I was living in Delhi for 12 years and never noticed these things in past. I tried the curly girl method but even with diffusing my hair were not drying up for like even after half and hour of diffusing . My length is so long that it just doesn't hold any kind of curl not even the curls made with a tong and sprayed with hair spray. If my hair remain wet/damp for long I get fever so I can't let my hair to air dry for an hour or two. I am so confused. My hair are not tangling or giving me any other trouble. I use hair masks to keep them healthy. I have been growing my hair for 12-13 years and now only I am seeing this kind of texture. I don't know why I am seeing all this poofy texture on my hair esp from roots to mid hair ? Kindly help. I don't know if I was able to explain my problem properly.

Hi Pooja, apart from shampoo I dont think others should be a problem. Even shampoos that are gentle and conditioning are softer on hands too. Check my shampoo review video for suggestions. Hey Deepika my hairs are curly and frizzy and dry also i don't use conditioner, i use simple dove shampoo( not curl shampoo) and for conditioner i use a bark of tree bhimal in my village it's good for hairs it makes my hair bit silky but not less frizzy.. and now I ordered arata hair cream and gel so my question is as I don't use use conditioner I use only the bark of tree and aloe vera so the gel will affect as like you coz you use market condioner or will I have to use conditioner?

Hi Tannu, thats not possible to guess how will the new products work on your irrespective of what you use apart from them. You can use your new products and if still needed you can order a conditioner too. Everyone has different hair what might work for me might not work for you and vice versa. Fine hair needs less conditioning so they can do away with lightly conditioning products for example. Medium-coarse strands need more conditioning. Basically depends on ones hair. You will know when you start using styling products correctly

Hey I feel you are not conditioning the upper part well and/or not applying stylers on upper part and/or not making clumps right from roots. That happens to me too if I miss either of these

Hi, if you need a long lasting solution then colouring only can help. Colouring and henna both make hair rough if not taken care and ignore afterwards. But if you follow even basic haircare then its easily manageable. However dont use henna alone it will make hair orange. Use it with indigo.

Acha aisa hai agar to apko suggest karungi ki pehle aap thode time treatment follow karlo uske bad hi new cheeze try karna. Koi problem nahi hogi agar usse pehle bhi karte ho but aap tension me aa jaoge aur ki kuch react na kar jae. Islie abhi aap mat try karo. Ek suggestion rahega ki dandruff shampoo ko scalp par hi lagana because vo bana hi scalp ke lie hota hai and thoda drying bhi hota hai. Hair par vo excessively drying ho jata hai. Hair par aap koi gentle shampoo use kar sakte ho aur conditioner se follow up karke usko bhi rinse kardo. Hi no avoid avoid avoid. If you want to use both then apply oil before shampoo as usual and salicylic acid serum after shampoo and rinse it properly afterwards. Since its not an oily product there is no need to shampoo it off. Secondly salicylic acid breaks down oil right? If you are intentionally putting more oil before salicylic acid then its like deliberately making it do more work than it should. It should work only on your scalp and not externally put oil. Always use treatment products on clean hair and scalp for them to work the best

I can understand ♥️ i live in delhi-NCR region I know how hot and sweaty it gets. Summers are just🥵😭 I dont do braids though I keep it in bun mostly. Like 2-3 days with open hair when I have to go out and at home I wear bonnet and roll it up so it doesnt cause excessive heat. Satin bonnet has really helped me take better care of my hair- less tangles, less dryness, less frizz. And after 2-3 days its in bun for next 1-2 days and then wash again. You can keep it in braid if you like but I’ll suggest sleeping on satin pillow cover instead of cotton. Makes ton of difference with just one change

Maybe it's because I'm not used to open hair😅 And Yes I'll get one bonnet for sure. As I've just started with my wavy hair journey and i also have dandruff so i started using bare anatomy anti dandruff shampoo and it's too good( got one after watching your video) . Nahi, aap agar hair moisturiser laga rahe ho balo me jaisa video me suggested hai, to oil ki need nahi hai. Inke ingredients me already oil/butters hote hain aur ye water based hote hain baal oily nahi karte oil ki tarah. Basically oil se kayi zada benefits hain. Oil sirf shampoo se pehle lagao agar lagana hai to. Dadi nani ka time alag tha, lifestyle alag tha, pollution itna nahi tha tab.

Yeah everyone does. But yes it can breakout your skin. Whats not meant to be for face can cause breakouts on face. So make sure to wash face after styling, keep the wet hair slightly away from face by using little clips and once hair is dry you can wear bonnet at home if your skin is highly acne prone.
