We are a Black family, so we fall into your description of "families traveling." 😊. But allow me to go a little deeper for a moment, and I pray you are as open to this convo as I am. Unfortunately, Black families aren't always seen in mainstream travel media, so while we enjoy seeing travel content from all families, it is exciting for us as Black people to turn on the screen and see people who look like us on the high seas. I can't speak for anyone else, but I imagine other minority groups feel the same. And to answer your question, yes it would sound strange to me if you said you love to see white families traveling, but only because that is what mainstream media shows us all the time, so there's not really a need to call that out specifically in my opinion. The joy in seeing people that look like us on screen, comes from the lack of that visual on a regular basis, which doesn't seem to exist for white people. Hope that makes sense ♥.

I stopped going to one hotel that I've been at for 10 years because they pushed me and a few hundred people to another hotel last year. Now I'm starting at a new hotel that is much closer to Clifton Hill. So keep that in mind whenever you come across the border into Canada.

I really enjoyed your Icon video. It’s so upbeat and positive. Your son is adorable and so nice. I also thought it was beautiful that you had a romantic couple’s dinner. Your gold sequined evening gown was Gorgeous. I also really appreciated that you shared information about your large swimming cap. I have a large amount of natural hair that is thick. Even when I had relaxed hair I needed a secure big swim cap because my hair was very long. Btw, let me know if you sell a great heavy hair detangler. I really hope to save up enough money for a cruise next year or by my 70th birthday in June 14, 2026. My biggest concerns are about my rheumatoid arthritis and sciatica, but sciatica is much better. Looks like a ton of walking, but I’m a swimmer and love being in and around water. How far in advance should I plan for a big cruise? I’m a Retired Senior on very low SSA benefits and a cruise is on my bucket list. I’ve traveled to Europe and Brazil by plane a few times. Thanks for reading my long note Pam in Chicago 😀

For detangling I’ve been using the Unbrush. It works well but I do wish the bristles were a little longer to get closer to my scalp. For big trips we like to plan way in advance. We booked this one about 14 months prior to sailing, but we’ve done as far out as 18 months. Lately, the earlier you book the better the price, plus that gives you plenty of time to pay it off. Sounds like you have some awesome travel adventures under your belt already! We don’t mind long comments at all 😊. We appreciate you being here!
