if you find uber drivers canceling your order, try upping the tip by 2-4 $ depending on distance, remember cruise terminals are stressful places to drop off so they may be canceling the trip to avoid that.

I thought this was a truly outstanding set of videos, giving you a true sense of what the trip involved. That said, I think it teaches you some things to do to make your European cruise even better. I believe she went to Sorrento and it seemed like she spent almost an hour in an indoor Lemoncello factory. You want to visit the interesting and historical areas, and unfortunately there's no guarantee the cruise line will structure the right trip so carefully check the itinerary. Sometimes you can plan ports on your own using outside services. It takes some work, you have to research to find a reputable company, but you can get a lot more done sometimes for less money. One key is to consider worst case scenarios, say you're in Italy and will be there the next day, bad case scenario, there's traffic and you miss the ship but locate it the next day, that's better than trying to catch the ship in another country. I'd encourage anyone thinking of a Mediterranian cruise to see this video, she's bright and candid, the photography and video are excellent, and you really get a sense of what the cruise involves.

I have watched a few of your videos , but this one is my favorite by far! You probably deserve some type of award for this one. I usually travel with oregano oil, a swig of it will take care of any stomach bug. Happy birthday. I binged all the videos on this trip. I am mobility challenged so it was super informative. The honesty about the culture, food, ship and the countries was welcomed and helpful. The ship is beautiful but if the food is not good or the activities then it's just an expensive hotel. Hoping the series get better in France.

Italy and the pasta 😄 my husband and I did a Mediterranean cruise with RC and we were in Rome … we said the same thing 😂. Actually I don’t even like fresh pasta I realized. Maybe it was because we’re tourists but I’ll take my old box pasta any day if that’s what I can expect. We had a wonderful time though.

How important is it to book shows onboard in advance? And also should you book activities on land in advance?

Certain shows will fill up- like when they bring in magicians and illusionists. So it’s best to have a reservation in place so you don’t have to wait in the standby line. It’s quick and easy to do. You save by booking what you can in advance- internet, drink packages, excursions. They mark up the prices on the ships.

We went on an MSC med cruise 2019. Much smaller ship - Sea something. I found the passengers very rude and unruly. The language barrier was tough too. A ton of kids because back then I think they sailed free.

Same here. We sailed in 2017 and very few things was in English. It definitely wasn’t a cruise for American’s. It was definitely cater to Europeans! They were very rude and racist towards us the entire trip! That includes some of the crew‼️ People certain answer things, and gave us dirty, looks as if we didn’t belong on the ship! They tried to make us feel very uncomfortable! Although the ship is extremely beautiful, I would never spend my money with MSC . ever again!! I have heard of people, complaining of rudeness and racism from MSC. as well after our Sailing 🫤

I enjoyed the cruise overall. And have cruised with MSC since but the food options were limited. I’d recommend a different cruise line to the Mediterranean. Virgin Voyages, Royal Caribbean, or Norwegian for better food options.

I'll have to keep in mind the suggestion about when the men selling the carpets, and the jewelry, "If you Touch it" they expect you to buy it. Taking into consideration that as we are usually raised not to touch things, some how over the years, we become hands on, when on vacation, it is best to be cautious and careful what you touch.

There is a 15 minutes waiting period before a driver will even accept your ride. It’s a safety feature they use. And they don’t run regularly. Taxis are more common there. I was told that the Uber drivers serve as taxis as well so they’d rather park and pick up people instead of waiting on an “order” and then having to wait 15 minutes to accept. We found taxis to be easier.

You are welcome. MSC has made lots of improvements recently regarding food and service. I think they are perfect for a first time cruiser as you don’t have anything to compare it to. We’ve sailed recently and actually thought the food was better than Carnival and Royal Caribbean (MSC Seashore). I’ll be back in the Mediterranean with MSC onboard MSC World Europa in Jan. I say go for it!

⚠️Well, we were treated the same way and it wasn’t an opinion it was FACTS . These people are very racist and I wouldn’t spend my money with them if you are a person of color just a ⚠️warning.‼️ Just look at the negative reviews about the Racism! It was a group of 10 of us five couples, and we got the dirtiest nastiest look from passengers 😮 Lots of racist behavior‼️❌ There was Two interactions that was the time were we were going to curse people at🚫 THEY CUT IN LINE!!!! they STARE LIKE … what are we doing here 🤨 the crew was unfriendly towards us ❌ We feel totally Unwanted on this cruise, and they made sure that we felt that way!!! I am glad That other people are speaking our on this and Not trying to “SUGAR COAT” anything I make it my duty to tell any persons of Color not to waste their hard earned money on this cruise line! ESPECIALLY THE MEDITERRANEAN SAILINGS!!! Find a more diverse cruise line to travel the Mediterranean
