You are so friken inspiring and motivating. I have been in a really bad depression funk for the last few weeks and I'm not sure why. I was diagnosed with depression almost 10 years ago but lately it's been really bad and your videos just do something for me. Jordan is amazing. For the parents who work, make a block schedule that gives you a block before work, during work, after work. Then the regular time block for days off. This has been a true life saver for me. I work full time and co-own a business with my daughter. I'm crazy busy, but this system is a game changer.

I like the addition of the water goal. Otherwise a lot of people do block planning- subconsciously though, so it makes sense that it is working so well for you. I guess the naming of the times of day and color coding just helps reinforce the process.

I love this scheduling method! Setting alarms for time blocks is something I hadn’t really thought about much although I had a boss years ago who had alarms on her phone for everything.... right down to like alarms for 5 and 10 minute conference calls and meetings. She was a bit cluttered and scatterbrained but she was an amazing business woman and accomplished SO much with her time, this method definitely worked for her! Hope Ryan and Carter are feeling better soon! The ending was pretty funny though 😆

Tyree Courtney exactly! I think for most working people, those who have to work for other companies and not themselves that is, this method is maybe only feasible on the weekends. Working full-time outside the home as well as running my own online business and KZbin Channel can be SO overwhelming at times but this has made the biggest difference and I’m getting so much more done than I thought was possible. Also, it has helped me to realize what I need to cut out of my schedule in order to better handle all my responsibilities. Love this! I have made a master, weekly blocked schedule since my freshman college year... long ago...and have made a master schedule ever since. It was especially helpful when I also color coded for each child and the type of appointment. It really did keep me on track. I am new to the idea of a daily blocks, but will try it. I am more of a global thinker and a week view helps me see that I included everything. I do a master month schedule blocking also since my work schedule changes biweekly. I love this and also the printout. I will be using this! Thank you! You look so beautiful and you do inspire me!

Love this method! I think I've begun naturally doing a less intense version the older I get. Two Q's: 1. How do you deal with unexpected phone calls, or making time to talk on the phone with family members? I've found that phone calls that last 20-40 minutes can derail my momentum for a morning or afternoon 2. Have you stopped going for morning walks with Bardot and Carter? Do you incorporate any exercise into your day? Thanks girl! You are my 2019 inspo

I love this! My New Years Resolution is to transform myself by becoming healthier and incorporating exercise into my daily routine, doing morning devotionals and prayer time, balancing myself inside and out, and controlling the anxiety I’ve been experiencing from working 5 days a week and running a household alone with two daughters under 5 yrs of age. I don’t like the chaos and what it has made me become and I think a system like this would be perfect for me both at home and also at work! You’ll have to give updates on this so we can know more tips and tricks that work well 😘

Love this system! I've tried the hour-by-hour schedule system, but that was way too intense for me, and I overestimated what I could realistically get done in one hour...laundry, workout, make lunch, a read a novel -- sure! ONE HOUR! ;-) haha So I'll give this block system a try! I always have trouble with activities that go on throughout the day -- like laundry or general clean-up. How do you find it best to work in chores like that?

Great video as always. I get the CDC emails about flu activity across the U.S. but they don't break out the "man flu" which we all know can be life threatening. 😉 I have been using the block system for years. My son is severely disabled and I care for him so I list everything on my daily routine schedule that consists of time blocks for groups of tasks. I don't list the exact times but the blocks go in the exact same order every day so I know exactly where I am so I don't get behind. I keep a control journal with sections for my routines, grocery list, pending, errands and menu plan. I also have days by task. So under the to do items, I know that Mondays are errand days, Tuesdays are days I have appointments, Wednesdays are anti-procrastination days, Thursdays are my days to make my calls, etc. I use the Fly Lady Cleaning system so I do both regular and zone cleaning in the blocks on my schedule. I found your water and sleep tips most helpful. I have difficulty getting enough sleep since I must give my son's meds every six hours for life.

I think this will be a great method to try out for the new year, especially because I am just starting to get into a new routine with staying at home full time now instead of working :) thank you for sharing!

PS I love Jordan, she's fantastic - and I wish I could use this method, but as a shift worker, switching between early morning, late afternoon and night shifts, I have zero chance at a predictable, natural feeling routine.

I honestly love your videos and how well they are planned out and I hope and aspire to be a great content creator like you as I plan this year to get better at my KZbin channel. You are honestly the best youtuber I watch. You leave me wanting more videos of you and since you are so private it keeps me guessing love it.

I like your alterations, especially Google Keep. Had been blocking digital calendar (after seeing Jordan's video), but constant interruptions at work threw that plan way off. Using this method WITH Google Keep will allow me to pick up a category whenever I can (vs being lost on my calendar after that time block passed). I just redid my categories & added my "word" this year as a time slot to be sure make time in my day for this word & intentions (goals) associated with it

The man flu is REAL. My husband was sick and called me into our bedroom to move the cover off of him because he was just “soooo weak” 😂 After that I just turned around and shut the door so I couldn’t hear him call me anymore!

Love love love this method ty for your video :) Im not sure if you or anyone has suggested making a color coordinated clock. I found easy to pop the back off most cheap wall clocks. Then you can shade in each time block according to your time blocks colors. I have older boys i do this for homework time sports practices lights out etc..
