Game Collecting in January is Tough! Latest Amazing Video Game Picks Ups!

Hey everyone! In today’s video, I’m sharing my latest video game pickups including car boot sale finds, a chance charity shop haul and more! I’ve been on the hunt for some hidden gems, and I managed to score some great deals on retro and modern games, and collectibles. January is a tough month for collectors on a budget, so cheap video game finds are a must!
Additions to my gaming collection includes games for PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo and some unexpected bargain gaming finds, and I think this haul has a little bit of everything. I’ll take you through each pickup, sharing my thoughts on their value, condition, and whether they were great bargains or total busts.

From a stock perspective yeah, I think January is good for charity shop stock as more people are having clearouts and decluttering , blows my mind that someone woukd have paid so much for those England shirts and would then just donate them in, they aren't that old really either, but, my gain! I've picked up quite a few myself this month too. I got RE0 and Disaster : Day of Crisis for the Wii, Firebugs for the PS1, Batman : Rise of Sin Tzu, GoldenEye : Rogue Agent and Turok : Evolution for the PS2, Mario Golf, Super Smash Bros and Zelda Triforce Heroes for the 3DS, Red Faction Armageddon and The Walking Dead Season 2 for the PS3 and Panzer Dragoon Remake for the PS4.

All belters them mate, and Rogue Agent 😜. I liked Day of Crisis, and sos final escape on ps2, just good ideas for games I think. I did see that PS4/VR Distaster Report the other week, but it was very pricey and pretty average apparently..

@pixelpaul_pxp I did the first level of Rogue Agent and its a cool set up for the rest of the game. I have SoS on the PS2 too, but not that PS4 game either. Saw it in CeX the other day for £34, I think.

Hope to see you there mate! Yeah, there's not much in Bolton sadly, but nearby places like Leigh and Darwen have Gremlins Games and GoGo Games. A but further out there's Morecambe with Lees Games of course, and also a shop in Wigan, which I haven't been to yet, but am hoping to go this week, so keep an eye out for this weekends video on that one! Street Fighter Alpha 2 is really impressive on snes. But given it's price I won't be getting it again lol. If I feel the need I'll just get the PS1 or Saturn versions. Are there any games or systems you'd like to add to the collection this year Paul?

Yeah, it came out pretty late in the snes lifespan and was pretty impressive to get it on there really! I think this year, I'd love to add more gameboy games in, it's a console I just love and used to have such a great collection, so I may try that, there is another console, Sega, that I've never had and am getting the urge to dabble in, but not committing yet, it's space which is an issue again, but we'll see! @pixelpaul_pxp Hopefully you'll get that Sega Paul. I finally got an MD yesterday. Just waiting for it to be delivered. Can't wait. Now I have both 16bit consoles. So really happy. Gameboy collecting just be tough? I always hear tubers saying how bad the privacy of boxes is.

Yeah, GB collecting isn't the easiest, but I'm quite gappy with carts only too, but we'll see! Hope you enjoy the MD! I think it's a fairly budget friendly console at the moment, there's a few expensive ones of course, but lots out there below that £20, even £10 mark.

@pixelpaul_pxp That's a good strategy TBF. I've always thought about maybe psp or 3ds. Those are the only 2 handhelds I really got a lot out of. Thanks Paul. Yeah most MD games are very reasonable. I think the most expensive games I want are Mega Turrican, Castlevania and Shinobi III.
