For those unaware: This theme uses a leitmotif from "The Baby is You", a joke album Toby made about, as stated above, Homestuck Mpreg. I could elaborate further, but every one of my experiences with homestuck have taught me that context only makes things more confusing. Consider listening to it, it's... definitely one of the experiences of all time.

According to his newsletter, he composed "Tera Raid Battles", "Academy Ace Tournament", and "Battle! Zero Lab" (the final boss theme people call Sada/Turo's theme). He also composed Area Zero, which was then re-arranged by Go Ichinose. He also composed the melody for "Academy", which ended up being used used a a field theme for the whole game.

i like how even in a series like Pokemon or a game like Minecraft where in both there are more than one composer for different tracks but even so i can easily recognice a track that its composed by Toby Fox or Lena Raine, in their respectively games, but not to different to think that its not naturally from the game or not fitting. This is actually my first time hearing the original version of this song, and I find it kind of interesting that Toby seems to have still done everything himself here and used his soundfont library, I recognizes the drums and background guitar from Megalovania and the lead guitar from Hopes and Dreams

Toby Fox also made most of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's music, you should definitely look at the Tera Raid Theme, Area Zero themes (overworld and battle in the same video), and the AI Professor battle theme.

He worked on the Area Zero theme too if I remember correctly EDIT: I just checked, he did the tera raid, ai professor and academy tournament themes, and a theme he made for the academy that ended up being used as the field theme (then another composer made a night version based on said field theme). He also composed the Area Zero theme which was later re-arranged by Go Ichinose resulting of the ost currently ingame

Basically he wrote the melody but didn't singlehandedly compose the final version. I might be totally thinking of a different song, though. What an awesome theme! It's so weird to me that Gamefreak actually took on Toby Fox to compose tracks for them and every single one are absolute bangers. In general, I'd love for you to cover more pokemon tracks but the Area Zero and Professor battle themes from SV (which I'm like 95% sure is also Toby Fox) would be awesome. I also appreciate how he managed to retain his style but tailor it in a way that fits the franchise, it makes each piece of music he composes stand out amongst a franchise of musical titans.

i love this track. I really think this a good track for Leon and it really suits the theme of the galar region. Also a real punch in the gut if you lose to him in the tower. Toby did other tracks for pokemon and it all just fits so well with pokemon. I would like to hear your thoughts on legends Arcues vs arceus theme, since that track just devolves into a glitchy mess. Like longest battle theme for a pokemon ever lol.

You should give the destiny/2 soundtrack a shot, specifically Deep Stone Crypt, which is an amazing song in one of the best raids. Another personal recommendation is the soundtrack for the OG Wrath of the Machine raid, specifically Siege Machine. You can’t really go wrong with any of the raid soundtracks.

Pokemon Sword and Shield got a lot of hate when they released, most of it understandable. Looking back on the game I thought the base game did lack content, but overall it was another solid entry. I'd choose it over Scarlet and Violet any day of the week.

The E is not a simple E major, it's an E7 (though the 7th is omitted) making it a dominant chord. The tritone formed by the minor 7th and major 3rd make it a tension building chord.

Hey Davi Vasc what's up? I have a request for you to see, remember Undertale? So, there's a fan-game that some awesome team made based on the history of one of the Undertale's humans that fell down before Frisk called "Undertale Yellow" and the game has AWESOME soundtracks, the fan-game has been in development for more than 7 years and came out in december of 2023, i plead you to react to the soundtrack called "A Mother's Love", it's pretty unique and fun! (and VERY hevy on the lore of the game itself) Hope you see and do a react of it!

You should check most of the battle themes in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Toby Fox helped wit many melodies of those games. Penny's Battle Theme AI Professor Battle Theme Team Star Grunt Theme Tema Star Boss Theme Tera Raid Battle Theme (This one I'm sure Toby Fox is who made it) Also the battle themes for Ogerpon, Kieran and Terapagos (some Bad Apple vibes), and Terapagos.

@@BJGvideos that's why I just specified the only one I'm sure Toby Fox made. Still, the S&V games had superb music, and I just put my favorites. Also, if not made by him, it's posible he helped or at least share his work with others in the team to maintain a certain vibes o style when composing the other melodies. A bunch of funky glitches and weird bugs and performance issues, but the music is 10/10. Area Zero theme and Area Zero Underdepths theme are also cool.

...He only did two of those. Toby didn't make any of the Team Star stuff, he confirmed that, within the main game, he did Tera Raid Battle, Battle!Zero Lab, Academy Ace Tournament, and composed the Area Zero theme(which was then re-arranged by Ichinose.), as well as creating a melody that was used as a field leitmotif, though songs using it were all made by other composers. For the DLC, the only track he's known to have created for sure is a remix of the Ed Sheeran song.
