Make super-easy, super-delicious snacks for your Super Bowl party - or any party any time!
Hot Reuben Dip
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. sour cream
1/4 c. Thousand Island dressing
1/4 - 1/2 c. sauerkraut, drained
1 1/2 c. shredded Swiss, mozzarella, muenster, colby etc., or combination
1 1/2 c. coarsely chopped or shredded deli corned beef (about 8 oz.)
1. Stir together first three ingredients.
2. Stir in kraut, then cheese, then the corned beef.
3. Pour into a square, glass baking dish or glass pie dish. Bake through until bubbly, about 20 minutes at 350F.
OR
Put into a crock pot on high for 45 minutes if you're in a hurry, or on low for a couple hours if you're not.
OR
Put your microwave-safe mixing bowl which holds your ingredients into the microwave for 4 minutes, stirring every minute for consistent heating. Adjust time as necessary. Pour into baking dish or crock pot.
4. Serve with pumpernickel or rye bread cut into quarters, or choose rye crackers for scooping.
Best Wings In The World
Wing sections, patted dry with paper towel
1/3 c. Franks Red Hot
1 T butter
1-2 t. vinegar
1. Line a shallow baking pan (such as a jelly-roll pan) with parchment paper. This is important - do not use foil or leave the pan unlined - it has to be parchment paper!
2. Place wings in pan so they are not touching. You can put as many as will fit on the pan.
3. Bake in a preheated 350F oven for 1 1/2 hours. For extra-crispy deliciousness, turn wings halfway through baking. Add additional time if you like your wings super crisp.
4. To prepare wing sauce, combine Franks, butter, and vinegar in a microwave safe bowl, cover, and heat for 1 minute until butter is melted. Stir to combine.
5. Put cooked wings in a large bowl and pour sauce over all. Toss to coat,
or just put the sauce on the side.
So good, right?!
