This whole channel is amazing! You deserve so much success with this! Keep developing and creating whatever calls to you! Your intuition seems to be on point and you deserve WAY more views than you get at the moment!

This video was great! You had a need, and you went forward to make something visually appealing. And it also still works! Good job, Atsu.

Love your channel so far! Thanks for sharing all this cool insights into your work with the playdate. Mine should arrive soon, so I'm starting to get ready developing for the playdate myself. One thing that came immediately to my mind when I saw your "morse code" data transfer stuff was compressing the leveldata, to make transfering the data via beeps even faster. Maybe you could use huffman encoding for that 🤔
@SquidGodDev
@SquidGodDev Жыл бұрын
Glad you're enjoying the channel. Yeah I got a lot of feedback about doing some sort of compression algo for the data transfer - that's definitely a smart thing to do. I just ended up putting something quick together to try and get it working.

@@SquidGodDev Yeah, I imagine it’s much more important to work on the real features of the game instead of a minor performance improvement to the level transfer speed. 👍 I‘m definitely excited to see your next vid ☺️

I'm at a point in my life where if I ever need to make a website, I think I'd try to export a Godot app to web instead of learning modern webdev. You're doing powerful work, thank you for your service.

Looking great so far! Do you think it would be a good idea to add some data redundancy to the level codes, such as a checksum?
@SquidGodDev
