Hands down the most detailed comparison I have ever seen on KZbin. Everyone who is considering any of these phones or considers moving beyond a dedicated camera should see it. There is a saying, the best camera is one that you have at your disposal. I agree that we reached the point that good enough cameras do not have to add an extra 2-3 kilos around the neck and force one to carry a big bag with additional lenses.

It's just a matter of time until this channel blows up - I keep watching your videos now for the past view days and the depth, quality and neutrality is refreshing. These kind of tests are so good that other, established and professional, channels have something to learn from you..! I have a Vivo X100 Ultra on order and my standard zoom range lenses for my Sony A7RV on sale. I'll keep the heavy tele lenses for a few more years for wild life shots in Yellowstone and other national parks in the US.. but I won't bother any longer with the heavy-gear around town and weekend trips. @@Abakaschi Thank you kindly my friend. Definitely worth keeping your camera for sports/wildlife/fast moving complex scenes that needs tracking and subject recognition. Smartphones are not there yet (which is strange, I feel like it is artificial gatekeeping, because sensors are still produces by sony, omnivision etc. and they are gatekeeping for "pro" gear) ✨But saying all this, I am really pleased with Vivos performance for general photography, fun stuff, hobby, vacation, family stuff, and even pro work can be done, why not. Ease of use, no need for tripod, heavy backpack, computer, editing in Lightroom etc. So refreshing. ✨I still want to buy a "real" full frame camera, because I just love the feeling of the process. But this definitely should be a lot better than a smartphone, and I want to see something new, may be DJI can break through with their full frame on L mount. I like Panasonic with "real time LUT" feature for ease of use, but I feel like I want something more, in terms of OS (Android camera with open source code) and vision in general. ✨For example, ram is cheap, why we are handicapped at 8 and 16 with choking buffer, there are a lot a lot better processors and GPUs on the market that can render complex moving 8k Ray traced scenes in real time. Why slow sd cards, nvme SSD anyone? And on and on...

Fantastic video well done on this! I own the find x7 ultra and have done since March this year. Software can be a little bit buggy at times being a Chinese rom and having to download the play store yourself however the camera is incredible, it handles gaming amazingly and general browsing/multitasking is smooth as anything. Really impressed with it.

Very detailed analysis, but i have some thoughts about it: - If you talk about colors, you basically only tell us, what you like more, what is pleasant and so on, but actually we need to now, what camera had the most accurate color in comparison of what we see with our eyes. And if none of them were 100% perfect (what probably no camera ever is), then you could tell us, how the color actually looked like (like saying sth like "it had more yellow in the green" and so on) Same for exposing/lightning. Did the scene look to less bright? for example sunlight on the skin? where was it not strong enough? i mean on on some pictures you can nearly feel the sunlight, it feels so real while on others it looks like on a photo. And same for contrast: Was there really so much/less contrast? which part were to much/less ? And also all 3 things for low-light. Modern phones tends to make night looking like day. So color, lightning/exposing and contrast is also sth we want to know if it was like we would see with our eyes or not. And lastly: Pleas write on the picture which modus (zeiss natural and so on) you used, not only on the "color-chapter" and also please state if the pictures are unedited. a lot of youtubers do edit and everything looks not like when we shoot fotos/videos. Love your videos, but i just wanted to give you some extra tips, which would make yout videos even more professional and more helpfull for us. Keep going on!

✨Hello my friend, I do not edit any photos, only mirrorless , because its jpgs are very bad and I have to shoot in RAW format. ✨I already doing new video, where I mention some of that stuff. I understand that sometimes people want what they see, but sometimes they need just good result that is more than real life. Vibrant, colourful, bright and contrasty, with good level of details. For that reason photographers and I also edit my personal photos and give them mood and unnatural colors. ✨I changed colour profiles only on special sections of the video, where I compare colour profiles, I provide a text for it, so people can see what colours do what. ✨But on the whole other sections of the video I use only one color profile that came by default out of the box, on Xiaomi Vibrant, on Oppo I cant change it, and on Vivo it is always Vivid colour profile, so on the whole video you can see results with consistent colour profiles and totally untouched and unedited, I do not even apply corrections on the phone, just point and shoot, like any person without any knowledge of photography will do

I feel like zve 10 + sigma 18-50 2.8 is the cheapest modern setup right now, you can buy it 1000-1300$, Nikon z30, may be canon r10, but canon does not have bright modern apcs lens if I remember correctly. If we take a kit lens, camera will be destroyed by a smartphone in low light.

Great video. But sadly you missed pointing out a crucial aspect of these phones (like the rest of the tech content creators). It's about the HDR photo viewing in the Google Photos app (Google Ultra HDR image format 1.0). Only the Oppo and Xiaomi have it. You can't view HDR photos on the Vivo, only in the native gallery app. When viewing photos on the X100U in Google Photos, it's sadly missing that 3D photo HDR look. Also, this is a feature that works across all supported devices: you can view photos and videos taken with the Oppo in HDR even on the Xiaomi and other supported device in the Google Photos app. Also, since they support this google image format, you can post photos and videos on Instagram and other supported apps and they will be viewable in HDR on other supported devices. Also, note that you can't view photos taken with the Vivo in HDR on other devices either. This feature is amazing - you can view photos and videos you took in the future with that awesome 3D light and shadow HDR effect. 😃

Долгое, но очень интересное видео. Было больше похоже на битву vivo и oppo -xiaomi всё же реже брал верх. Не ожидал увидеть макро в 60х, и что орро в этом сценарии иногда будет обходить виво по качеству фото, но виво по макро всё равно чемпион. По цветам, фронтальной камере и видео больше понравился орро. Не понравился микрофон на ксяоми. Были даже мысли от себя тоже отдать победу vivo, но он очень слабо проявил себя в ночном видео -в результате для меня чемпионом остаётся oppo.

Thanks for watching my friend. I am selling everything right now except Vivo. Also keeping Oppo for my wife, but she has some problems with notifications and links are opening in the built in browser instead of the apps, If I cant fix it, will have to sell it also. Vivo check almost all the marks for me as Photo camera, more than half marks as Video camera, and 95% as just a basic everyday phone, very pleased with the performance. Of course nothing is perfect, I have some questions for it also, but there was 0 situations where I was frustrated or cant do something that I need. I have notifications, can connect smartwatches from Galaxy, wi-fi transfers are good, all my SSDs with thunderbolt protocols are visible, so I am happy with this device.

@@David.1984 Hello my friend. It depends on the models, for example Oppo and Vivo has antenna bands, like 20 band, for connection on providers and carriers. But Xiaomi on chinese Rom do not have this physical antenna, so it is better to buy global version (not global rom) if possible. If you do not plan to use them as network device for calls and web, it does not matter.

Oppo also has master mode, which has a different color science (similar to like Leica authentic) but you can't access it through the normal photo mode, it's a different camera mode.

Хорошее видео, длинноватое правда, но посмотрел полностью) Заморочился ты конкретно конечно, не представляю сколько монтаж у тебя занял. Тоже купил Виво х100 ультра на днях и также есть с24 ультра, но рядом с Виво он ни о чем. Самсе есть над чем работать и очень много, вряд уан юай семь что-либо исправит. Виво топ. Также параллельно продолжаю пользоваться Хуавей П30 про с Leica, он все еще может. Что удивительно, при одинаковых размерах экрана х100 ультра кажется намного компактнее чем с 24 ультра, в связи с этим в разы удобнее, с24 ультра как натуральный кирпич

No bad choice from this phones, it depends on your preference. Xiaomi can give full global features if you even care about them, Vivo on Oxygen Os the same but Ultra is Origin Os, which I like, Oppo is great too, but it is chinese rom to the core. My subjective choice right now is Vivo. You can look at my "OS and Camera App" review short videos, may be it can help.

Hello my friend. Sorry, but cant comment on it right now. Vivo is a very strong device, very hard to beat it in photo department. Video is kinda meh on all smartphones, i have not yet seen a good smartphone for video in auto mode, iphone, sony, samsung are litteral garbage with weird colors, and chinise flagships are not far from that, i personally like to use third party apps, to remove artificial stuff, that is for some reason manufactures keep pushing inside their video camera apps. For video i suggest you to look in the DJI Pocket 3 direction, i love this small device, image quaility and stabe is very good, and low light performance is also nice.

I have recently got the Vivo x100 ultra and i want to confirm that it is not only put IPhone 16 pro max to shame, it put my Sony full frame camera to shame! This phone photo quality and ease of use of photography tools is unmatched !! It is at least 5 years a head of any existing camera !

In the video night segment with main camera, what was the resolution/fps? 4k30? 4k60? Were they automatically switiching to 24 fps to gahter more light? I found it strange as vivo as much darker than the others and at the same time it had much more noise, which makes me wonder if the others switched FPS and vivo didn't.

@@longdoo1 Hello my friend. Macro photography is one of the most complicated types of shots. I suggest to use 10-20x, 30x os okay, do not go above 60x. Also press you hands against the chest, exhale and only than press the shutter button, but press gently multiple times.

Are the Sony images are straight out of camera JPEGs? I think that the big camera companies can not shoot good jpeg (maybe Fuji is the only exception with the film simulations). They can show what they can do, if you shoot raw and edit afterwards (also including noise reduction and sharpening in post process). But that's a lot of work, if you want a good picture quick these phones are more comfortable.

So they are really close even without the computational photography.

Xiaomi is my preferred choice in this video almost all the time, but on the 6 hour video with Xperia added in, Xiaomi looses pretty badly to Vivo and Oppo. could a software update have messed things up?

Here is the biggest chapter in the technology bible regarding the comparison of the 3 best cameraphones of the moment in 2024. In a religious cozy atmosphere I discovered that the X7U, 14U and X100U are powerfull archangels. the X100U is above the rest, of course it is not perfect but certainly the most impressive in all photos but downside on video in general. The X7U performs very well in many scenarios, not the best in all but very good in all. The 14U, which is not optimized correctly by the firm in my opinion, is still maintained in many aspects, although with major shortcomings... Thank you and thank you again for your work as a Titan !!! 15 days of post-production ! I know this passionate feeling that borders on sweet madness ;) PS: It seems that Xiaomi's latest firmware would improve stabilization especially for night photos and some improvements in portrait shots. Let's wait and see
