It's real easy to rip on Rob when you see videos like this and consider that the dude hasn't put out a part in years. But to his credit, his flat ground consistency (compared to Koston) says nothing about his talent as a skateboarder. Back in the day, he shredded - maybe not by "pro" standards, but he was still pretty damn good. The thing that Rob apart is that he was charismatic and personable - and marketable. That's why he's gotten so much media attention and been stigmatized as a sell out... but can you really blame the guy for wanting to live the good life? Sponsorships don't mean anything when you're old. Rob seems like a good enough guy so I say just let him do his thing. If he's making money NOT skateboarding, who cares? Watch a Luan or Busenitz part if you wanna see great skateboarding... there's no use in ripping on a guy who was never known for being that great in the first place.
