I quite like these interviews. And I am still impressed, as a half-Dane half-American myself just how well Nikolaj hides his accent when he acts, not to mention how well Peter acts out his own. These are both superb actors, they both master tone, body language and facial expressions so well.

yeah, some loyalty Tyrion has to Jaime: shipped his daughter to Dorn (which ended up killing her), murdered his father, burned and slayed his army, scheming to have him and Cersei killed and bring a foreigner with an army of savage rapists in power. Don't get me wrong, I like the show, its charactes, costumes, music, special effects, etc, but the story is seriously lacking now and feels extremely rushed. GoT became a parasite of what it once was. It puts established, well written characters into circumstances that don't make any sense and hopes for actors and all other departments to carry the show. People joke about dragons eating all the budget and how there's nothing left for dire wolves, clearly they ate good writing too.

Tyrion should have asked Jaime, "You're treating me this way for killing our father, but if he would have been successful in executing me, would you now be treating him this way?" It just seems like such a double-standard, the way his brother is acting because he was defending his innocence by defending his life. Tyrion was right about how Jaime can kill the King he was sworn to protect, lose a hand, help his brother escape justice, (even though he wasn't guilty,) and even father three illegitimate children with his own twin sister, two of whom would actually usurp the Iron Throne, and not only face absolutely NO consequences, but get promoted to the top ranking Commander of the Lannister Army, and even be released from his Kingsguard vows so he has the option to take his father's seat as Lord Of Casterly Rock and Warden of the West. Of all the Lannister siblings, consequences only ever seem to apply to Tyrion. Nobody should blame him for the choices he's made lately.

Everything seemed rushed, Jaime casually escapes the battle + Arya is a clearly a dumb little girl by suggesting to behead the northern lords, look what happend to Robb (be honest Arya fans) + Gendry suddenly a great warrior + Suicide Squad formed with 7 proper characters.. I love Jaime. At the beginning of the series we think he's a one-note villain, you know, the typical entitled and arrogant villain who has everything and takes everything for granted but the more you learn about him, the more you realize that he's a complex character that can do good and he was like that from the get go. One of my favourite aspects of Jaime is that he loves his little brother. Jaime is the lone family member who cares for little Tyrion. So of course Tyron is still loyal to his older brother, growing up Jaime was the only one who loved him.

this scene deserved so much more and had so much more potential. its not the first time this season a scene has fallen short of its potential this season, my theory is that things are being moved along at such a fast pace that you don't really have time to develop that anticipation needed to fulfil the emotional capacity of a scene, either that or there are so many things happening this season that the writers made a conscience decision to prioritise, not every scene can be a stark reunion, or cersei/Martell standoff (theres not enough time and the more there are the more they lose their effect). still, I cant help but feel like some scenes have just been robbed, this scene, jorah and dany reunion (amongst others) just feel... idk, rushed.

Just a reminder that Cersei, Jaime, and Robert travelled from King's Landing to Winterfell in a timespan of less than five minutes in the series premiere. The abbreviation of time on this show is nothing new, and the pace of a story always increases the closer you are to the beginning or the end.

SpydeyDan Fair point but in the premiere I'm sure we only saw them travelling into winterfell if I'm correct. So it wasn't as if we saw them in one location and suddenly a completely different place in the same episode. I know the timespan is different but when you see characters shifting that quick it pulls you out a bit. Tbf I know they have to wrap up the story but sometimes the characters suffer when you go at this pace. 10 Episodes would've really helped honestly.
