Game of Thrones castle for sale

Game of Thrones fans can own part of the famous show, as an Irish castle featured in the program is up for a sale. Condos in Gosford Castle, which serves as the setting of Riverrun in the program, can be purchased for $849,000.

So just that there shall be no mistake: Gosford Castle is NOT medieval, but Norman Revival from the 19th century.

There is no way a medieval castle would be allowed to be turned onto flats this was probably built in the early 1800s

Bullsheet It was completed in 1859 in the Norman Revival style so it looks older then it really is.

When Robb beheaded Lord Karstark, all you saw is a lawn, a half-wall and some stone arches... Who knew they needed a whole castle for that scene? Sounds like HBO wasted some money there. I could have built that whole set for about $2,500.
