I love braiding. I am so thankful to my aunt who taught me how to french braid at 10yrs and I have been braiding my own hair since!!!

That was some awesome advise you gave. I no longer work behind the chair and really do miss it. But I love the advise, showing your customers some great ideas to do on themselves or their kids and so on. Beautiful hair style also. Sharing with your customer some tricks and ideas will keep them coming back. I have always said you can be a so so hairstylist but if you have the personality they'll keep coming back. It's a personal experience for people and once they find someone they like they'll stay.

This was amazing, i would have never guessed it was knots that made such an intricate design. I too love the show and am in awe of all the hairstyles I've seen (and costume designs when they are being worn lol). Then again, hair is the first thing i notice in whatever i see. Thank you for teaching us. Im going to do this on my daughter 8)

Wow. I have very long and thick hair, but I've never been able to do knotted hairstyles. Braids are fine, and even then difficult, because knots will form while braiding. I'm going to try your technique though, it seems to keep the other hair out of the knots quite well.

Sam, I subscribed a minute ago. Your channel seems to be an excellent resource even for us braiders without professional education working on ourselves!! If you could do more Khaleesi hair-dos I would be thrilled. Her braids vary every GoT season. I love the first season (Dothraki style) most, they look most difficult. I twould be so great if you showed your take on it! Thank you for sharing your knowledge on KZbin!!

If you want damage free texture for decorative braids, try putting your hair in small loose braids, 6-8 before you sleep. Pull them out and brush them with a boar bristle brush. Texture without heat.
@samvillahair6 жыл бұрын
Great tip Kitty! Thanks for adding :-)

Her hair has a texture, that makes her hair look thick. How did you do that?
@natbathebat9 жыл бұрын
+Florensia Garner In many of his videos he crimps the model's hair with a very small crimper! It adds that texture and fullness. It also makes the hair 'grip' itself so it stays together well!

I like the technique a lot but I don't like the look of texture iron in the hair. I understand it gives the hair more staying power, especially on finer hair texture, but I find it aesthetically unappealing. Very imaginative technique though!
