This was a really well put together video and its clear you did a lot of research into it. I do think its really interesting to see the differences between the show and the books. In the books there is no pin to represent the Hand of the King position, its always been the chain of hands that we see briefly on Jon Arryn, Tyrion and Criston Cole in HotD. Its actually what Tyrion uses to strangle Shae at the end of the third book. Similarly the necklace Sansa wears to Joffrey's wedding isn't actually a necklace in the book, its a hair net. I do like both changes though, the necklace Sansa wears is beautiful and the Hand of the King pin is incredibly iconic.

I’m confused about the necklace Olena threw over the terrace when choosing Margaery’s wedding necklace. Why would someone throw gold away? Was that the same necklace that was used to poison Joffrey?

@@markmartin2292 Hi Mark, no. Those were a selection of necklaces that Olenna had picked out for Margaery for her wedding to Joffrey. Her tossing it shows how rich they are.

That was one of the necklaces that her granddaughters (or younger women from or close to her family) had brought to her for possible options for the wedding. She has sent them out and told them that whoever finds the best piece can keep the second best. So she is throwing one of the pieces that we see laid out for her to examine and is making a point to Margery that she wants nothing short of the best.

Hi Silky, sorry about that. Cersei wears the tiara with the red stone for the banquet at Winterfell. She wears the tiara with the green stone in the throne room when she tears up Robert's letter and then for Ned's execution.
