Having listened to almost all versions I could find, yours is definitely, and by far, the best. I listened too to the Hollens&Davis version that you recommended, and really, there is no point of comparison. This is a harsh, sad song, and it requires minimalism. It can't be transformed into a sweet lullaby with violins. Your choice for the a cappella voices and the guitar chords is breathtaking.
