@Someonece
@Someonece 5 жыл бұрын
@@diana_thebooknerd Then don't open up the god damn show with the White Walkers, and don't let Jon spend his entire fucking arc talking about the army of the dead. He kept saying that the politics of Westeros was nothing compared to the White Walkers, and the show was trying to convince us that he would turn out to be the archetypal hero, like Aragorn or something. But as far as we know, it was all for nothing. A character completely irrelevant to the fantasy arc of northern Westeros came out of no where and ruined everything.

He was dead either way. There was no outcome of the situation with him living. Being a redeemed and forgiven man, he does *what is right* (he talked to Jon about always wanting to do what's right) and makes a last charge at The Enemy. His death was quite unspectacular, for the great character he was, but it was the right ending for him.

The issue is that Emmy soundtrack nominations have to be composed specifically for the single episode they are featured in - they can't include any material from previous episodes. And, since this is an epic where music is used as a storytelling element through things like leitmotif, this piece will likely be disqualified due to incorporating the show's main theme around 5:18. Light of the Seven was ruled out on similar grounds.

I love how Night King has been portrayed in this music. Music isn’t full on dramatic or invoke terror, rather shows a haunting beauty, sadness, brokenness, and surge of strong emotions. This is what Night King is, someone bitter, cold, who had his humanity forced away from him, now bent on cold revenge. You can see (hear)how Ramin is painting the character. This soundtrack had more character development than Dany in Season 8
