What wonderful things do the minds of David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have in store for us in the final season of Game of Thrones?
I have a few (mostly cynical) guesses I'd like to share with you...
Also, I shouldn't be sharing this super secret final season leak with you, but it turns out Rhaegar's daughter Rhaenys was actually also named Aegon. Spoiler.
Oh, and I guess I should add some character names in the description here so it will ping better in searches, so, um... the Night King, Bran, Sansa, Jon, Daenerys, Bronn, Jaime, Cersei, Tyrion, Sam... the guy who got his foot stepped on by a horse at Renly's camp in season 2? The extra that was played by that guy on KZbin who does the impressions? I forget his name but he was the guy who got axed in the balls by the hound. I'm sure lots of people are googling him.
God, I think covering this show for this long has like... done things to my brain? I flipped a table at a Tim Horton's the other day because I overheard someone say "Robert's Rebellion was based on a lie". And I know it was wrong to scream all those Shakespearean insults at him, but I just couldn't help it, y'know?
I guess what I'm trying to say is that this show can have an effect on you.

We get another rapidfire flashback scene from the Bran 9000 that explains either how to defeat the Others or how certain historical events *really* happened.

Here are some. Melisandre saves everyone at some point ala Daenerys last season and then dies. Arya defeats a white walker (free space level) Arya bones Gendry like it's going out of style. Cleganebowl (free space level) They both die obvi. Jon is irrationally freaked out (considering cousin marriages being ubiquitous) that Daeny is his aunt, Daeny is nonplussed blah blah dragons can only love dragons. Jorah dies saving a lot of people and "redeeming" himself as a Northerner. Theon grows some balls. (Probably unlikely literally) Sansa and Tyrion talk freely for the first time ever and find they are very compatible. Jamie and Brienne bang (what else are they doing) Bronn disappears from the plot until the last episode. Sam kills a white walker and becomes Lord Tarly at the end. Howland Reed has a terrible.reason for why he didn't show up last season. Tyrion "wins" the Game of Thrones and creates the Senate. Davos becomes Hand of the Kind for the third time haha. He marries Sansa. Jagen Hghar does some cool ninja shit and dies, but did he though. Jon and Daenerys die in some weird preordained romantic Destiny thing. The Golden Company somehow enable the Night's King to get an early win and become Golden Wights. Illyro does not come back. Varys dies after revealing some sad backstory, maybe he saves a child or something. Tyrion and Sansa take down Cersei this fulfilling the younger beautiful queen and Valenquar prophecy so nobody gets mad. Bran congratulates Jamie for throwing him out of the window. Bran engages with psychic war with Night's King. Daario helps take down the Golden Company to help out Daeny and dies. Rickon is not mentioned Renly is not mentioned Robb is mentioned once. Robin Arryn is forgotten about or is just killed by wights in an opener. Dorne and the Tyrells are not mentioned. Grey Worm dies as a gut punch. Brienne dies. Wight Giants are actually treated as big deals. Opening mini map shows Wight legos is coming for Winterfell. Winter in Westeros is not a big deal after all.

- Stannis gets brought up only to be mocked, belittled and/or have his past achievements attributed to someone else -Arya does something fan servicey then grins like an anime character -Daenerys killing Randyl and Dickon is either never brought up or Sam just doesn't care because the plot doesn't have time for there to be tension between them -Lyanna Mormont talks some more shit like a kid on Xbox Live -'Good' guys losing until surprise reinforcements cliché -Character cradles dying friend and has a heartfelt goodbye despite a battle raging mere feet away cliché -No named characters wearing helmets cliché

Jon snow is constantly worshiped as the mary sue/Jesus Christ/chosen one/generic protagonist who is inherently more important that everyone else.

I predict: No one will mention how a secret marriage works and what the annullment actually accomplished. Daario will land with Golden Company and defect from Cersey's to Dany's side. He will die saving Jon. The music will be amazing. Ramin Djwani (no idea how to spell him) is the best thing the show has. Theon will have his boss battle with Euron. Hodor zombie vs Branbot&Ghost Robin Arryn will have surprise telepathic powers and aide Bran, dying in the process. Sansa kisses him. Arya/Gendry romance, some cheesy line of the Stag and Wolf uniting again. Jon being boring, having a big speech and doing something stupid at least twice. People looking at dragons being awestruck. Inspiring music plays. Howland Reed having an underwhelming appearance. Meera saving Bran not lose his humanity. Something important being in the crypts of Winterfell. Cersey dying in a poetic way. Jorah, Brienne, Greyworm, Tormund, Beric dying in a sad way.

I still cannot handle the idea of Lyanna Stark deciding to call her kid after her boyfriend's/husband's kid of the exact same name. After his father brutally murdered her father and brother. Hopefully that was Rhaegar's idea, and he genuinely couldn't imagine why that's fucked up, because then everything finally makes sense.

Hey Danzie, would you ever consider making a video placing the song of ice and fire characters on the D&D morality scale, I know this would be a very time consuming video similar to the myers-briggs video, but I felt that was one of the best GoT character analysis videos out there and I think it would be a really amazing video. Just something to consider, keep making awesome videos :) . Also I noticed Ramsey wasn't mentioned in the Myers-Briggs video and I was wondering what group you think he would be in?

This contains spoilers for S7: They're gonna make Pod die in Brienne's arms. Because tearjerker = good writing. Oh, and Indira Varma's coming back to do something because D&D are obsessed with her. Getting around or getting hungry isn't going to be a big problem (they might mention people are hungry, but it won't make them less efficient fighters, etc. And they won't say "we can't get there because of the snow" ONCE) during a Westeros WINTER, because that would slow down their rushed wrap-up. Also we're never going to see the Unsullied wearing proper winter gear. Correlary: no one wearing hats or hoods even though it's freezing out because the camera needs to see their masterful acting better. We're not going to see Ghost more than once, if that. They might mention him, but CGI is better spent on dagrons. Probably they will forget he even exists except one part where he rips up a wight. Maybe. Terminator Arya will do Great Deeds of Arms. Sample chapters' stuff used by D&D as desperate Hail Mary content cause they wrote themselves into corners. Deus Ex Machina fixes EVERYTHING . Cliffhanger endings to episodes they aren't willing to commit to (you watch X beloved person "die" and then they're casually back and fine next episode.) Danaerys Is Perfect And Morally Upright. Drunkenness is Funny. (Example gratia: Look! Tyrion is drunk!! Isn't he Hilarious?) "Fans liked X person, let's show them off!" for Davos, "Lady" Mormont (RIP her mother and older siblings, do you suppose they were murdered so someone could be the Power Behind The Throne of the youngest kid?), Melisandre, Grey Worm OR Missandei will die. Because tragedy = good writing. Feeding the dragons will somehow not be a problem. They might lampshade it but that's it. Time will be wasted making sure all the lead actors spend at least 30 seconds standing next to each other "interacting." But mostly standing in awkward silence because D&D couldn't think of anything to make them say. Tyrion and Sansa's marriage won't come up. Jon's sexual relationship with his aunt won't come up. Pod being a secret Baratheon won't come up. Rickon won't come up. Clegane bowl because some fans want it and D&D were out of ideas. Theon will do something violent and the showrunners will imply that that's him finally overcoming his trauma again. Quaithe will not be mentioned. She'll be a trailing plot thread forever. I'd laugh if one of the the wights Jon faces is Ygritte, doubt D&D would think of it. More of Tormund being awkward at Brienne because fans probably liked it so do more of that.

There are many characters that I could choose for this, but I'm going with "Edmure Tully is not mentioned at all". I chosed him especifically because he would be the most egregious of them all, who cares if Robyn Arryn doesn't appear? The Vale is helping fight the wights and the Royce would be better Lord Paramounts, however we have no idea what happened to Edmure and the Riverlands, honestly if Jaime really wanted to help he should have rescued him and gotten him to get what remains of the Riverlands army to go join everybody north instead of arriving empty handed.

Of course they won't mention Rhaegar had 2 sons called Aegon....or else why call him Aegon? Personally, I don't get why he had to have a Targ name at all. Jon surely is not about to go around by his new name soo lol....why? Could be very wrong but I always believed Lyanna never named her son and Jon is his only official name. I don't see why not. Not all Targs had Targ names. *Shrugs*. They know no one watching other than books readers knows the names of Rhaegar's dead kids. A good portion of them probably forget the Elia Oberyn was fighting Gregor ove in season 4 was married to Rhaegar lol. I will be surprised if they go "Oh Lyanna named Jon Aegon because she knew other Aegon got his head smashed in so he is the new prince that was promised....or something". The only way they explain it if for some reason they feel the need, which I doubt they do. I mean they wrote Cersei's prophecy in predicting her 3 golden children and didn't care that she had a black haired son first that died. I don't think they really care. edit: oh you mentioned the black haired baby after I commented.
