Why? Ghost was always running off on his own. There when he needed to be but not particularly attached to John in terms of closeness and affection. Plus the fundamental change in John's character represents the change that all the other Starks went though, which usually meant the death of that character's Dire Wolf. It's a good ending for Ghost. He gets his freedom. Which is what John really wants but knows he can't have. Very poetic, and he get's to be John's true spirit. In a way that might be the only "happy" ending in the show..haha...

She has lied to everybody about the baby so that Jaime wouldn’t leave her, so that Tyrion thought that he had the upper hand to manipulate and reason with her, and now, to keep Euron, her most valuable ally with her as part of some empty promise to make him believe he will rule the kingdom somewhat so that he keeps fighting for her. Because if she was truly pregnant I believe she would’ve broken down, she does love her children and we have seen the lengths she will go to protect them, she would’ve done something more.

I agree. Daenerys didn't need to help the North at all when Jon asked. She also didn't need to save his dumbass when he went north of the wall to bring back a wight to show Cersei, which was one of several of his idiot ideas but I guess that's a different discussion. Tbh the biggest issues with the past couple seasons is pacing. I believe if the episodes took their time a lot of the fans would actually be okay with the choices they made. But since every episode feels like two whole episodes bunched into one, a lot times we move from one plot line to another too fast and the show doesn't give us time for the plot to settle in. Imagine if they took two episodes to get Missandei only for her head to get cut off at the end, that scene would have hit fans way harder than it did this last episode.

@@neoepicurean3772 Yea...that part bugged me. While they were negotiating with Cersei, you could see Drogon chilling in the background with a bunch of crossbows on the wall. They had a clear shot at Drogon and could have easily killed him and everyone else. War over just like that! Or they could have at least shot the dragon right after killing Missandei. Drogon is the only advantage Dany has left over Cersei and I'd think that she would want to eliminate that at all costs.

The Gendry and Arya proposal scene was like a dodgey romcom moment that just fluttered out. I would've liked a moment when Gendry tries to stop her leaving and she says that she can't runaway from this and maybe have them cry as she leaves. A sad smile from the hound as he looks to both Gendry and Arya.
