@@extint3407 Bit late. But the problem with season 8 wasn't the ideas it explored. E.G Daenerys going mad. It was the execution. Everything was rushed, no build-up, hollow pay-off. Characters seemingly acting out of character. If the same ideas were given one or two more seasons to develop and be exectued properly, it would have been much better. Even if the final outcome was exactly the same.

The Golden Company kinda forgotten how to fight, those were supposed to be the elite fighters, I waited two years to see incredible battles between The Golden Company and The Unsullied but nope we had CGI dragon burning CGI Kingslanding. However, I am waiting for the books to come out, and SADLY it's not just because I want to read them, but because by now it's just necessary.
