Let me preface this comment with I'm a girl. To me, there can be no story about Jon without Danerys. Drogon has to take her to Kimvara to resurrect her. And part of the story has to be about Jon fighting his feelings for her. Only Dany can calm the Unsullied and the Dothraki, and they will need both armies for the new war. Lastly, we need to settle the Azor Ahi business, too. Forgive the spelling.

In truth. Their stories were long seperate and only entwined, In the Show, for an instant in time. So your fangirl logic is as good as saying John shoulda died from Ygritz death... Or is that now moot

@DeezMatterz The beauty of fangirl logic is that we can fantasize however we want. That was the purpose of prefacing it with "I'm a girl." We like having the love story. I do think if the movie veers too much away from the TV series, it would be a little weird unless they do a really good job of telling the story. The beauty of making a new movie is that there is no story written that's available to compare it to.

I dont see Emilia Clarke will be willing to come back for doing a long and exhausting show, but i can see her come back for a movie. Itll be a bigger budget, she would be paid more, she would only have to work on just the movie for a short time and more than likely have more say what she is willing to show of herself, and she is known for doing movies rather than shows. Plus, im sure a lil part of her wants to finish out the story of what happened to her and the rest of the world. But not enough to do a show. So if they do a movie, I would so love for them to do this sequel. Sure itll be nice to get aegon the conqueror, but honestly i would love to see everyone back again to finish the story, but on big screen!

Would love a movie about Jon snow with the ending restarting the game of thrones series back to season 7 or less and he wakes up years later with the characters aged up but that makes sense into the narrative. The game of thrones cast went to Hollywood and I think all of them failed to be true box office draws and that’s ok. Come back to the series and make money but they might be to expensive and hbo broke ass might not be able to afford them
