That's a huge lesson especially for beginners and gearheads. As a metal bassist who always thought that I need to get more pedals for better tone, I realised that I only need a good right hand technique before everthing a bit late. :) Kudos to you! :)

Shorty Ubk totally! I could've saved a lot of money and time if I had learned this lesson earlier :/

1Badbass Dude, you and me both! It's the downfall of our capitalist environment. Tons of cool toys, lots of money (and time!) spent that we didn't need to spend. But the toys are remarkably cool, though :)

Right hand tone is so key. I might add right hand finger tone as well. Try playing with your fingers(instead of straight down 6 o'clock to the floor) turn them 7 or 8 o'clock and also try 5 or 4 o'clock and tell me what ya think. Also try (instead of gliding your fingers across the strings) try pinching under the strings whit your fingers. Also pinch at the o'clock times as well.

AJ I'm honored, thank you! Yes, self reflection and really examining you're playing and where you're at is really important! Keep up the good work!
