I think the majority of us looking into these before started with Jackery. The market was small at the time when I got my first 240. It's pretty much all there was(Jackery). RIP Jackery your competition is better and cheaper

@livelifefree1209 nevermind I looked it up. The machine needs 200w at 10 amps. This battery could run that machine for 4 or 5 hours depending on the speed of the baseball

@@livelifefree1209 a 110w solar panel might get 80/90w if you can perfectly align it to the sun. I'd look at EcoFlow panels or ALLPOWERS. Their 200w or 220w

First time watching your channel. I love EcoFlow products I own 7 total all first generation and recently bought 2 of the Delta 2's. I don't like expansion batteries so what I do is piggy back them or daisy chain them together to double the run time. We lose power frequently so when we travel out of town. I hook up my 26cu ft fridge to the Delta Max 2000 and the other Delta Max 2000 I hook to the A/C outlet to charge and then connect it to the other Delta Max 2000 to charge it from the other one while running the fridge, it is pretty awesome. The whole time the battery is not being used because it has pass through charging. The Delta 2 I love because they are so small yet powerful. Like you said there is some cons to EcoFlow especially dealing with Customer Service but they always make it right. I recently had to send 3 units back after using them for 2 years and they send me labels and replacements for all of them on their dime. Many other companies will make you pay shipping which costs a lot of money. Their customer service is getting better. Good video.

Good vid man. This is only the second one of your vids that I've watched, but both were so good that I subbed! I'm near Houston, we've been in the news a few times lately with power outages. After the recent storms, I bought the River 2 and River 2 Max, both with the solar panels also. I have a 3600 kw generator, but I don't want to have to run it all the time. But I can use it to top off my fridge and freezer, and run the microwave. We have a gas stove, so we can still cook inside. And I have a small window unit ac in storage that I can whip out if I need to cool down a room to sleep during a hot night, like after a hurricane. The generator ran two small space heaters for 5 days during Uri ice storm. It was in the teens outside, but the house never got before the low 50s. I usually have enough gas stored that I can probably run my fridge, freezer and the window unit, or heaters, for 6 to 10 days. My big issue with the generator that I have is that it's not pure sine wave current, which is not good for computers and some electronics. But I can charge my Ecoflows with the generator, or solar. Plus I can use one at hunting camp. Based on a test of the River 2 Pro in my backyard about a week ago (early June), it looks like I could have gotten very close to a full charge in 4-5 hours on a mostly sunny day with maybe 20% intermentent clouds, using the 160 watt panels. Usually, when we lose power in the area, the cell towers and even the internet go out. AT&T told me that fiber optic goes out less often than the conventional stuff. During the recent outage I decided to check. I powered up my router and the internet and wifi worked! That let us stream movies on the TV, and we used our internet based phone line to make calls and send text messages, even when the regular cell service didn't work. I picked the Ecoflos for some of the same reasons that you did, warranty, fast charge, and a flexible app. But they seem to be on sale right now, and the prices are really good. Plus, they use the newer batteries with a 10 year life and 3K recharge cycles, versus about 1K for many other brands using the older style batteries. The power banks have a meter that tells you how long you can run it with its current load. It was a real eye opener after I got the devices in and started testing them to see what they run, and for how long. I really had no idea how much power different devices used! Even small fans use more than you think. Anyway, thanks again for the vid!

I wanted to do this to save some money on electricity and its more green to grow with the solar power generating current to use for my grow lights, fans, water, etc.. When i say ive wanted to use one of these i specifically mean one of the ecoflows line up and the deltas are what I need that that also fit my budget. Trying to confirm my purchase. I bought this as well as the extra battery. My goal was to back up my sump pump with it. But after I got it I got mixed information about using it as an uninterrupted power supply for that. If I run my sump pump through this will the pass-through power run the sump pump with or without grid power? It seemed like it turned the outlets off on the back once and so I am not sure an occasional use appliance like a sump pump is something I can actually just use like this. Thoughts?
@kasualhex644 ай бұрын
It does not have UPS, it uses EPS. It does have passthrough charging. But, you can connect the Delta 2 to your home wifi, so you can control the Delta 2's outlets remotely.
@GS-lh2nx4 ай бұрын
@@kasualhex64 Ok but with passthrough charging how does an EPS differ from a UPS then? I think that is where I got confused earlier when I first purchased this. It was not the only reason I bought it but I thought it was a nice perk over a small gas generator.
@kasualhex644 ай бұрын
UPS is uninterrupted; no delay. And EPS has a slight delay to give power to whatever device/appliance. It's milliseconds, but there is still a delay with EPS vs true UPS. But, if whatever you are needing power to in event of outage truly needs Uninterrupted because of dire need, EPS may not work for you're needs.

Try it and see if it works. Your pump may not notice the sort payse while the Ecoflo kicks in. Another reviewer tested the River 2 and the River 2 Pro with his computer. The computer didn't flinch when he cut power using the R2, but it did w the R2 Max. Your pump is probably not as sensitive to the brief current pause as a computer, so I'd think you have a decent chance of it working. Also, I'm still learning to use the device, but I THINK you can set your power bank to never shut off when it's not under a load. I saw something about adjusting the setting when running something like a fridge that cycles on and off. The default setting may cause your Powerbank to turn off if nothing is drawing power for awhile. But you can change that thru the app.

Jackery is late to the party. Ecoflow came after Jackery but Ecoflow has included LFP batteries longer than Jackery. While Jackery stayed stagnant ,Ecoflow, Bluetti, Anker etc. innovated past Jackery . I started with the Jackery 240 and Jackery is no longer the face of these power stations.
