Hi Lilly, I'm so sorry about Nordstream sabotage. USA media is trying to blame it on Putin but I think most people don't believe he would blow up his own pipeline. Our governments are insanely out of control. As of July 2022 there have been 98 food processing plants destroyed in America. It's good that the people of the World can communicate because we are all in this together, we are not wishing ill will on anyone and should be praying for each other in these hard times. This is everywhere. In America I just spent $300 on 4 bags of groceries that didn’t make a dent in my refrigerator. As a single man it probably gonna cost me $700 a month to feed MYSELF! My heart goes out to people with many children during these times.

Funny, several years ago I bought a cabin in the woods and now live here because I knew for years already that society was intended to "fail". I got an old wood stove and chimney from family members who were "upgrading" their homes. I've been collecting firewood throughout the summer drought. I chose poverty because I value other, more natural riches. And now I'm the richest of all of my friends, with the most experience in living off grid, and plans to move even further away from this sick society. But still people "believe" in their systems... Even while they are actively trying to take away my free access to basic human rights like land and water collected on my own land.

I live in Tuscany, Italy. I buy locally from very small private producers and prices have not changed. Between the pandemic and this crazy new world, I am more convinced that going off grid is essential for the future.

A few ideas to consider - I've lived in old, drafty houses most of my life. 1. Wool blankets are very, very warm. You can use them as a mattress pad on top of the mattress to keep heat in, or on top of your sheets as a blanket. 2. Seal up all places where cold air can come in your house, using caulking, or clear plastic and tape. Make sure to check your electrical outlets for cold air coming inside. 3. If you can't afford to insulate your walls, try at least to insulate the floor. Foil bubble insulation under your house is great, or even foil bubble insulation under your carpet, plus padding and carpet. Layers of carpet and padding are better than a wood floor or linoleum or tile. 4. If you can't keep the whole house warm, then choose a few rooms to keep warm and let the rest of the house be cold. The ones you plan to keep warm should have the best insulation and carpets. 5. Here in the USA, heated mattress pads are quite popular, especially in homes where there is not good heat. We have one on every bed, and only turn them on at night. This helps you feel toasty warm, but takes very little electricity. Because our beds are warm at night, we don't need to use as much heat. 6. Only heat the house a little in the winter. You don't need the house to be so hot that it feels like summer. Plan to wear layers of clothes, warm footwear and a sweater in the house. People used to do this all the time. 7. Plan to consume hot foods and drinks as they warm you up. Also plan your cooking so that the cooking heats up your house. Some people here use the clothes dryer to heat the house while they are drying laundry - there's a hose you connect that filters the dryer air and puts warm air in your house. 8. And finally, please remember that there are good people all around the world who love you and care about you. These big governments may be crazy, and they don't care about anyone, but the common people care about each other. We are all in this mess together, so hug your family, and your friends, and help others as you can. Around the world people are praying for each other. Best wishes to all!!

I don't think it was an accident at all, that's what they probably want you all to think, especially with all CCTV EVERYWHERE, that's so sad, I'm blessed to live in NZ, I hope things start to get better, no wonder why people are stealing and taking branches, it's every man for themselves at this stage, my ❤️ goes out to you all

Hey Lily. I'm a farmer in Europe ;) and I can tell you that the price of meat, eggs, and milk is increasing because of the grain and feed costs that increased like crazy those past few months... It's becoming difficult to feed all the animals. I had to increase the price of eggs and hens :/
