Be careful with e-bikes Lilly. Don't charge the battery into your home, there have been many fire incidents. Charge it outside in a safe place.
@sebastienbolduc5654

I would also store the battery in a shed, never in the home. I also don't trust those fire boxes/bags that they sell for these batteries. I don't think anything could contain those temps. It's better to burndown your shed than your home. With that said, I do like the concept of E-bikes. As for me, I much prefer my regular bike.

Stealth camping was unheard of in Canada, I found out from the Brits. In Canada we just went into the woods to camp, but in the smaller UK almost every inch is owned by someone. I still love the idea of stealth camping, not for illegal camping, but for the survival skills of not being noticed by bad people. I have two 3-D personal camo nets that can give a tarp more natural texture than flat straight edges. To me stealth would be no open fire, or small metal fire stove during the day so I don't light up the woods.

Hi Lilly, as someone that's done lots of offroad riding both bikes and motorbikes can i suggest you stand up on the pegs when going over the really rough or difficult terrain. Even with your pack on it with give you much more stability and control and your legs/knees will act as shock absorbers. Hope this helps.

Hi Lilly, I also sold my scooter recently. Been looking into an electric "mountain bike" for SHTF purposes. With my solar generator, it's easy to charge this bike off grid. Mobility is a huge component when all hell breaks loose. I'm currently filming a prepping video about stealth camping. I'll be incorporating perimeter alarms into my set up. When camping alone or bugging out a perimeter alarm can save your life. Keep on doing what you're doing Lilly, I watch all of your videos.

The efficient 48-volt battery will solar charge nicely. With a little range extending pedaling morning and evening, solar-charging mid-day you could move far and fast until your tires wear out. That should be a lot of range. A real getaway to safety. Beautiful stealth E-bike! The battery would not like winter cold.

Hi! First thing I noticed after hearing the max loadout on that bike is the frailness of the chain. That's going to be a weak link and probably the first thing to break, regardless of how much you are packing along with you. I don't know if there are aftermarket replacements for the sprockets and chain, but that's the first thing I'd look into if I had one of these. Thanks for the great video! Cheers from the USA! ❤🤍💙

You should consider getting a single wheel trailer instead of the large backpack. Let the trailer carry the majority of your cargo because it will lower your center of gravity making rough trails much easier and much less tiring because you will not have to constantly use your energy to balance the extra weight. I set my fat tire e bike up to hunt and the trailer was a game changer

You should look into get something like Tannus Armour for your tires. In my experience, fat tires puncture more often then normal tires, maybe because they have a bigger contact area and that gives them better odds of finding a nail?! I don't know if they make them for your tire size, but if they do, they're worth it.

But no weight information as i am restricted to where can store a bike and have to lift up and carry.have limitations, so companies need to learn these points. Also selling a second battery and spare tyers etc. You should do a follow up video i am impressed with the bike and will think to purchase for a family member once i find out delivery cost, and cost of spare parts. I've never watched this person's videos, this one just happened to pop up on my homepage. I was first introduced to the concept of stealth camping after coming across Steve Wallis' channel and now I've been watching him for a couple years. In my opinion, it's not stealth camping if you're in the middle of the woods with little to no chance of being seen. I'm missing the "stealth" part of that. Steve has camped in a rental van parked outside a police station and tucked into the bushes in the center of a round-a-bout. Now that's stealth camping.

Great video as always! I'm seriously thinking about getting an E-Bike. They make so much sense these days. No license or insurance required and cheap to run. I'm sure I could charge one with my solar set-up. Most of them have a good range of at least 50 miles / 80km or so and are plenty fast.

I checked a few bike brands. Seems like Engwe is one of best in terms of quality and price. Also the range is much better than with other brands

Here in Michigan there are regulations, for example eBikes can't ride on designated "official" state mountain bike paths. The faster it goes, the more restrictions. 20mph max offers the least restrictions. If you are bugging out who cares but for practice follow the law as mountain bikers sometimes get into it with eBikers because they often pass from behind without yelling a warning like "passing on your left!". That said, I'm annoyed to so many people are wearing headphones 🎧 and can't hear my warnings. Why go to nature to listen to music and podcasts?? 😅

I would get a second or even third battery and extend your range. make sure you carry a flat tire repair kit with a pump.

Been a while, Miss Lilly. Glad to see you are still making your great videos. And I enjoyed seeing you on Naked and Afraid - you did a great job of it, which I had expected. Lie the new e-bike; been contemplating buying one. But, prepping for a wildlife trip to Kenya, which should be interesting as I had made my career as a wildlife biologist. 78 now, quite crippled from Agent Orange, but going to try anyway. Keep filming!

You need to get some misquotes netting. It is very light weight gear for you pack. They make them to go over your sleeping bag. They also have them to go over your head . Your hat keeps the netting off your face. Will change your world in the woods.

if you are to use the ebike for bug out, i would take a ride with your bug out bag just to see how it handles with the weight and balance on the bike. 35 lb (15.8 kg) will feel different rideing.

Your new e-bike looks really solid - I was surprised to find out it only costs 1.100€. Looking up their website they say, 140km max distance is on a flat road with a load of 75kg, which is the driver. With a fully loaded bike and in rough terrain you can exspect a massive drop. For a bug-out vehicle I would suggest getting 3 batteries to at least cover 100km. A powerful solar charger would be nice too. E-bikes are quite heavy (Engwe-L20 = 34-41kg) and it's no fun to travel without e-power. It's no fun to haul them over obstacles either, going upstairs or over downed trees is a pain in the ass. Hope, it meets your exspectations. For serious stealth camping your need to cover your bike's reflectors and get a camo painting on your water-container. The white rocks around your fireplace and the white ash stand out quite well too. I would prefer boiling water on a bushbox, pour it into a waterproof bag and take it into the sleeping bag to keep warm. For stealth cooking consider a Dakota fire pit. Keep on your great work.
