How's that Letang contract Penguins! But I was wrong for wanting him gone a couple of years ago, yeah, sure. I can't say I didn't see his inevitable mass regression coming. People still defend this guy over and over again. Why is that? He hasn't been great in at least 3 years. He is a has been. He was tremendous in 2021, and before, but not so much now at all. It is what it is.

Another season of less than average hockey in coming. Thanks for the memories coach but it’s time to go, along with Letang as well. We need a rebuild and a solid defence, otherwise amateur hour is gonna continue next season.

For the record, I only wanted Crosby to retire a Penguin and maybe Malkin on a shorter-term contract signed. I'm not sure what people saw in Letang to make them think he deserves to play in Pittsburgh until age 41. Malkin is also dabatably under contract for too long, and trading him in the last 2 years would not have upset me.

They can’t keep up with Sullivan’s system. The coach has the responsibility to equip his players with a gameplan that works for them, not a team 7 years ago
