After working for a large charity in the uk I can confirm “dumping” is a big problem here too. We call it “fly-tipping” and it is definitely illegal. I worked at a second hand donation based store In Overland Park Kansas for over a year. It was a rich area so we typically got nice things. The downside, those over priveliged twits would dump all over the place... There was nights we didn't get to go home until 3 in the morning because we were stuck there cleaning up.

small correction for Sam at 8:33 . Sadly there's no ray tracing in Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Might be mixing it up with Ubisoft's other recent game Watch Dogs Legion which does have ray tracing.

@@TheNightWolf-WildCraft exactly! It's all about the games anyway. And the ones I want to play: Forbidden West and Cyberpunk will be playable on PS4. No reason to buy a new system now. Plus I still have a backlog of games to play through on PS4. The PS5 new haptic controller sounds really cool but even there it isn't even being used fully on all games. Add in the early adopter bugs of the new systems and sitting it out for a while seems like a no brainer.

Oh man, you guys are in another universe compared to me. I love the modern day AC storylines. Been fascinated with that since AC1. Really cool to see carry over game to game. If anything I think it's a cool concept as to "WHY" you are playing as whoever it is game to game in a past era. To each their own! Scoop!

I’m surprised nobody mentioned the real scourge of this console launch, the speculator’s bots. While most of us were fighting with Target’s or Walmart’s websites dozens of bots are snatching up inventory, making sure that when we do connect to the server all stock is gone. The lack of even the most basic Capcha function was clown shoes by the retailers and directly led to the growth of the resale console market.

As someone who enjoyed the older games in the series and didn't like Orgins and fell off Odyssey pretty quick I'm super impressed with Valhalla. It's easily my favorite AC game now it's the perfect blend of the old school era and the rpg era. That game does so many cool little things it's #2 on my GOTY list with Ghost still at#1.

Tina and I have both been implying the same strategy of going back and forth between AC Valhalla and Miles Morales, both are really fun and beautiful games. I highly recommend both, AC Valhalla is now my favorite AC game it's the perfect blend of the old school era and the rpg era!!!

Mark's PS5 is perfectly camouflaged where it's at. I had to pause the video and study it. I eventually realized that the black stripe down the middle of the PS5 was not one of the table's legs. And the PS5's side panels were not part of the wall behind it.

I did the exact same thing daemon did. First thing I played was Dead Space on my Series X. Now I’m playing Demon Souls and damn its hard. I knew that already. Slowly but surely i’m liking the game. Every time I die, i get so mad I just put on Netflix or play another game. I’m really curious to see if Daemon likes it. I can’t see myself beating Demon Souls. We’ll see.

I like the modern day storyline in assassin's creed. I think the past few games have had a good balance of it. Enough to keep going but not enough to be bored and easily skipped for those who don't want it

I did not get next gen console yet due to lack of next gen games not being released. Instead I built a new pc rig end of sept, and AC Valhalla came with my build. I have been playing 4k ultra settings with 70fps avg so I'm defiantly not missing out with next gen fidelity power. AC is a really fun game as well medium size open world to explore. I hope cyberpunk will be AMD optimized as well so I can play the same high fidelity settings on my pc. Will be buying next gen consoles when there are next gen games released!

Hello everyone. I have started playing Assassins creed Valhalla on my new Series X and everything is good, well almost everything. Have someone else noticed that the sound mix is kind of weird? It is kind of underwhelming that there is no music while raiding or fighting, it kind of make the experience less attractive. Also when you are in a crowded section of the game it seems like there is only 4 people there and everything seems to quite and dull (I mean we are Vikings things should be loud and chaotic). Can’t believe a studio the size of Ubisoft Montreal has not given the proper attention to sound, IMO it’s something as huge as graphics and narrative.

Whether a 2020/2021 game is developed for PS4 & PS5 or just PS5 is a decision that studios made 3-5 years ago. Based on what Sony said, I expect for new projects Sony that 1st party devs are free and/or encouraged to target PS5 only, but we won't see them for 2-4 years anyway. Maybe that is effectively no different from Xbox. We'll find out who keeps making last-gen games the longest :-)

Playstation players waited decades to have a console that somewhat compares to a descent pc only to suffer the same problem as pc players have been and to have the games be set back because they’re accommodating for older consoles.. if they do that then for ambitious games like Horizon the ps5 version shouldn’t just be better graphics and fps it should be made solely as a ps5 version with no hold backs by the ps4 version

Some of us really enjoy the Assassin's Creed mythology. I want more good modern day stuff, not for it to be removed. If you don't want Assassin's Creed to have Assassin's Creed in it, that's a YOU problem, not a Ubisoft problem. If Ubisoft wants to make a NEW, historically based open word game, that's fine, but please don't take away my Assassin's Creed.

People have been hating on that part of the game since the very first AC; all these years later the franchise is entirely different and yet they persist with the weird, lame, pace & immersion breaking modern day stuff.

Obviously, IGN's staff generally don't care for the modern day framing device, but we've seen many times where IGN's opinion, or even the most vocal opinions on the internet turn out to just be a vocal minority. I'm not saying that's necessarily the case here. I'm just saying we don't really know which opinion is in the minority and which is in the majority, and shouldn't assume one or the other. I'd be curious to see a widespread poll, or Ubisofts' internal data on this. But either way, my vote is still to keep the cool sci-fi stuff :)

Wait, so you copied games and whatnot from your PS4 to your PS5, which you decided to do. In turn this made getting the ps5 up and running slower because all you did with the XSX is connect it to your tv and power on. Like WTF. I mean you didn’t have to turn your PS4 on. You can jump right into the ps5. Same as XSX. Both consoles require you to setup your sign into. So don’t make it sound like it took you hours to get into the ps5 because you were forced to transfer your PS4 stuff. Also don’t make it sound like the XSX takes 30 seconds to setup. I love this show but between this bs and last week trying to say WD Legion requiring you to do missions to recruit is total bs. Usually this show is spot on. But some of this shows are just off the wall lately.
