Here it is...the end of an era. Three years and almost twenty theories, but I think I have it. I think I've SOLVED FNAF. When you look at the timeline of events, all the major questions of the franchise start to make sense -- Who is inside Springtrap? Was FNAF 4 in 1983 or 1987? Where is Chica in Sister Location? What's the deal with Balloon Boy? So I went back and mapped out EVERY event to create the FINAL FNAF theory...answering all the lingering questions from the series and setting things up for Scott to eventually release FNAF 6. We all know it's coming so why resist?

doing a rewatch of all the fnaf theories, and even though it's funny now to look back on matpat calling this his "final fnaf theory" considering everything that followed, this theory is probably my favorite in the series. it's really well put-together, and I love the idea of fnaf being the story of a family at its heart. the structure of telling the story by going through what happened to each member of the Aftons is really cool. still the best "final theory" in my book.

I'm not even sure what's incorrect about this one tbh, it seems so logically sound and the events in 6 don't really seem to be out of line with this one, so I presume the problems come from the books unless I'm just missing something about 6.

@@Mendigom there’s a few things in FNaF 6 and the books (specifically the Survival Logbook) that complicate things. The logbook mentions “was your favorite ride the carousel” or something along those lines which many assume means that the Crying Child has been to the FnaF 2 location as it has a carousel. Because of this many think the random “JR’s” location in the Midnight Motorist mini game is said location. This makes things complicated though cause it’s assumed that the whole of Midnight Modernist is the aftermath of William killing Charlie aka the Puppet as the file label this section as “later that night”. However we know for a fact that Charlie was killed at the first Freddy’s location as during Henry’s epic speech in the cannon ending of FNaF 6 it’s basically confirmed that the “take cake” mini game is depending her death which only has Freddy in the establishment. TL,DR: FNaF 2 could’ve happened earlier in the timeline than we initially thought due to the Midnight Motorist minigame being weird

If the Crying Child's father (afton) really is as distant as Mat says, only monitoring his children through the Fredbear plushies, then it makes sense that his unconscious son would hear his dad's last words to him as the words of Fredbear, the plush his dad watches him through. 6:05 look i’m watching this in 2024 (don’t judge me) and actually the first ever victim of william afton was a girl named cassidy and casaidy is golden freddy BUT in 1983 (the bite of ‘83) the crying child soul is sended to freadbear because after the bite of ‘83 what was in the mouth of freadbear is actually part of crying child and later in story we know that golden freddy is freadbear but with a protective suit making him “another animatronic” but since Cassidy was afton’s first victim just after FNAF 2 he transfers Cassidy soul into golden freddy and crying child being freadber being golden freddy means that actually golden freddy is Cassidy AND Crying child and believe me or not actually the puppet is the 2nd victim of afton (This took me a lot of research so please like my comment)

@@ineedvitaminD obviously now we know the fnaf franchise dosen't have an end in sight, but what we can be assured of is that the story that we all got invested in back in 2014, came to an end in 2017 with FNAF6 and UCN. FNAF6 had the best possible ending the series could of had so anything else released after that should be considered in a completely separate canon (new games and new books)

It seems like you haven’t quite gotten a grip on the whole story, so ket me catch you up. Golden Freddy bit Michael Afton in 1983. This was before his endoskeleton was removed and before he was possessed by Cassidy. In the original FNAF game, Golden Freddy was the one who would show up and say “It’s Me”. Around the time FNAF 4 came out, all of the posters featured the animatronics asking whether or not they were responsible for the bite. They would say “Was it me?” and “Or me?” and “Or was it me?”. Then at the end of the game you discover it was Golden Freddy who was responsible for The Bite of 83. So in truth, it was Golden Freddy all along. It was him. It is him. And in the immortal words of Golden Freddy, “It’s me.” It was alluding to the fact that he was the one responsible for The Bite all along. Scott Cawthon tends to leave very important details hidden, but still in plain sight. The only reason we can’t pick up on the details is because they’re hidden in plain sight. We don’t notice things when they are literally right in front of us. That’s why no one realized that Golden Freddy was going to be revealed as the animatronic responsible for The Bite, because we never realized that it was a clue all along. We didn’t know that Golden Freddy’s catchphrase was a clue all along. Of course, that’s just a theory... A GAME THEORY! Thanks for reading.
