It gets worse when you remember that 5 consenting adults agreed to this. These individuals were in the MEDICAL FIELD. THESE 5 ADULTS IN THE MEDICAL FIELD PERSISTED FOR OVER AN HOUR ON A GIRL THAT WASN'T EVEN 11 YET. This should never have happened and if all was right in the world, they'd all have their medical licenses revoked, they would be serving life sentences without bail and parole, and they would be ostracised and alienated in the public eye. That is not just murder, that is FIRST DEGREE MURDER, these people knew what they were doing could cause asphyxiation, and they held the position for 80 minutes. First degree murder on its own is at least 25 years without parole. This was torture, and there are security cams and even a transcript to prove it. Candice was asked, “do you won’t to be rebirthed?” She faintly answered “no” Her adoptive mother, feeling rejected by this, was told to leave the room, “therapists” fearing that Candice would sense her sorrow. That’s when the therapists called her a quitter. I think the vomit and excretion should have been the let up. Its usually only supposed to be a breathing exercise... Petscop is cool n' all and I'm glad it's doing well, but the story of Candice cannot be understated. It's revolting to hear her story, and I know I'm not the first to say it, but those "therapists" deserved more than 16 years. There was no excuse for torturing a *ten-year-old, traumatized child.*

As a child of adoption I too started out feeling detached from my new mother and father. Honestly for me it was a case of abandonment anxiety, if I got too close what if they were going to leave me like my biological mother and the staff at the orphanage did? It’s scary that someone could think that “attachment” therapy like the one displayed in this video is the correct answer. I had a hard time getting attached to my parents, when I was adopted at age 6 but now, 14 years later, with a lot of love, care and support from my parents and my adoptive sister, it’s going much better. What Newmaker was experiencing may have been something similar to me, I too lashed out against my peers and my parents because i didn’t want to get attached and it was “easier” to just push them away

Something I'm wondering is just how the "therapists" thought that would work as a form of "rebirthing". Because when a pregnant woman goes into labour they help the newborn be well, born. But the "therapists" didn't at all let the mother help instead making the "baby" get out on their own causing the death of Candice Newmaker. Also, Only 16 years and then only serving 7.
@owyemen93673 жыл бұрын
I mean idk anything about the situation but the way Matt worded it sounds like they died in prison
@ariaslauson55293 жыл бұрын
I think it is more if Candice survived, she would have to be grateful that there is someone who is willing to take her. The forced love comes into play. The “therapists” probably would have banked on Stockholm Syndrome to take place.

That story *and I’m sorry for my language* is f***ing disgusting I’m just disturbed by how horrible the “therapists” were by not letting her out for 70 f***ing minutes, I’m just.... horrified by this story, they should’ve got life for killing a child

That's terrifying, and even messing around when ur friend puts a pillow on ur head for too long is scary, being sat on with no weigh out? That's a pure nightmare. I wish the therapists would rot in prison and hopefully suffer more than candice. Death isn't enough because its considered an escape. They deserve to be in pain in jail for the rest of their lives.
