Aiden taking down Olivier in a footage in Assassins Creed Origins (Layla’s laptop), Abstergo industries mentioned in multiple watch dogs game (abstergo workers in Watch dogs 1 and Abstergo stocks in Watch Dogs Legion), and a literal crossover of Watch Dogs Legion and Assassins Creed in which Darcy is releaing at the same time Aiden Pearce coming back to the Watch Dogs series? And in odyssey there is proof that they are in the same universe with aiden Pearce because there is a side mission in watch dogs where you knock out oliver (owner of abstergo) and then after the mission is complete we cut to a later time, in odyssey it shows how oliver was killed in Chicago on May 2014 (release date of watch dogs) and it shows a picture of aiden shooting oliver in the back of the head.. they are officially connected

There are some of the lost letters in Far Cry 3 that mention Templar activity, I don't think he mentioned that. Also, Far Cry 4 gives you many things that seem Assassin's Creedish 1. All of the hallucination scenes with Yuma seem similar to what Arno went through in his initiation. 2. The Thangka Paintings allowing you to relive the journey of Kalinag in Shangri-La (Pieces of Eden?) 3. Pagan Min kind of strikes me as a Templar who stopped caring about the order. Yuma on the other hand is obsessed with finding all of these artifacts up in the mountains, like the Relic from Valley of the Yetis, meaning that she's a lot more.... Pro-Templar. (Does she remind you of Lucy Thorne from Syndicate, or is that just me?) 4. Speaking of Yuma, she seems a bit obsessed with the whole concept of Kalinag being reborn. Might that have something to do with the Sages?

I absolutely love this theory. The way Aiden plays as a stealthy, based on quick takedowns, fighter, makes him so similar to the creed I just could believe he wasn't an assassin, or at least in the same world. In all honesty, this is probably the closest we will get to a modern assassin's Creed game, based upon modern day combat

I know this happened years after this video, but For Honour put in a Templar pack and an Assassin pack. The event even tells a story of someone (probably Desmond) entering the Animus and it creates a malfunction, sending him to the world of For Honour. Also, adding Rayman and the Raving Rabbids happened in Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Layla Hassan exits the Animus and you explore, you enter the closet/storage room and you find a Rabbid figurine (Fun fact: She says "Bwahh?" when you activate the figurine) Edit: Changed from "Main character" to Layla Hassan

Matteo, in the modern day sections of Origins, the newest game, they have a lot of data files that you can search through on a laptop. Included in those data files is a picture of Aiden (from Watchdogs) shooting Olivier (from AC4) which basically confirms that Watchdogs takes place in the modern day Assassin's Creed universe. Though the stuff about Splinter Cell and other Tom Clancy titles I doubt will be included since they are all in a world of their own and that is the one Tom Clancy made up.

Hey MatPat, I highly doubt you'll see this comment and even if you do you probably won't care, but I love GTA 5 and I love this show called Burn Notice. In GTA 5 one of the main protagonists names is Micheal De Santa and in Burn Notice the main characters name is Micheal Westen. I have looked into these to characters and found many similarity's. You probably don't want to waste your time digging up information for this, but it would be cool, and very unlikely, to do an episode on this. In the AC lore Eagle vision is a sense we all have but don't know how to master. The assassins learned how to and teach all their ranks how to use it. They did however loose the ability over time which is why the modern day assassins can't use it unlike Desmond as he's a direct descendant of the most important Assassins such as Bayek, Altair and Ezio

Just recently played through Immortals Fenyx Rising. It honestly plays pretty similarly to the newer AC games, just with an added gliding mechanic. Also has very similar Greek mythology and statues as AC Odyssey. Also you have a bird that follows you around. The fighting is very similar as block, dodge, light attack, and heavy attack use the same button combos on both games There's also a stealth mechanic. Don't know if Id consider it in the same universe because IFR storyline is strictly focused on the Greek mythology. But just seemed like they had some similarities.

I see how the Watch_Dogs and Assassin's Creed perception powers are similar. One can argue that they're the same powers but utilized differently. Both powers are information processing powers just used in different ways, like Mat said. In WD Aiden uses his increased processing to speed up normal information perception while AC's assassins use the increased processing to amplify the amount of information they receive in their surroundings in real time and the same can be said for the protagonists in Far Cry. These powers are the same, just used in different ways.

Been playing Watch_Dogs recently, and this is pretty spot-on. Not only what he's said in the video, but also Blume's goals with ctOS. Think about it: a city-wide monitoring system that allows any who control it to, effectively, control the lives of everyone in the city through subliminal messaging and blackmail. Sounds a lot like shooting an ancient artifact into space and using it's weird techno-magic to control the world; doesn't it? Blume could possibly be another Templar agency or part of a group very similar to the Templars.

Another character in the Ubisoft Games Universe is the main character of Ghost Recon: Wilderness is Nomad. His ability of scanning is alike the ones in the already “confirmed” cast of characters and by knowing this, we can also connect the cast of Rainbow Six: Siege into the Connected Ubisoft theory. In a side mission “Archangel”, Nomad meets up with two of the operators from Team Rainbow, Twitch and Caveria, then meeting Valkyrie after the mission is completed. And if the connection from Nomad to the “Confirmed” Ubisoft Cast isn’t strong enough, in another of Ghost Recon’s side mission you encounter Little Brother from the Splinter Cell universe and help him out with a mission. (Also just because, Ghost Recon has a side mission of fighting the Predator. Which connects the Ubisoft universe to the Alien and Predator universes.)

Also in farcry primal you have a thing called hunters vision (Which is the same as eagle vision) I think the person you play as in farcry primal (takkar) Is one of the first borns of when the first civilization got it on with humans ;) . BECAUSE 1 the eagle vision and you know how connor can tame animals. Takkar can do it that to an amazing extent... so maybe the power has got dimmer during the time. Also in the map you can see a carved out image of the assassins signal.

For Honor had an event Where the Animus had a glitch so Assassains led by Ezio and Templars led by Cesare Borgia go at each other in the FH universe. And in Rainbow Six Siege a new animation came and had 2 easter eggs, 3 helmets belonging to 3 warriors of For Honor, and Dokkaebi having a beanie with the words "swelter skelter" on it, a reference to watch dogs 2, so we have a couple more games to add in the universe

I've got a bit of a theory (sadly not related to this video though). The assassin's creed is centered around freedom while the templars are centered around order, both ideals being closely related to those which are polar opposites: freedom can be bordered with chaos and order can be bordered with control. If you pay close attention to the nature of each group and how the characters act (sometimes the main characters themselves), they will tend to sometimes go too far with their ideals. With the templars, what they percieve as maintaining order often crosses the line into becoming the danngerous concept known as control. With the assassins, even though they believe strongly in freedom, some of their members (like Jacob Frye for example) tend to take it too far which in turn causes a bit of chaos in their wake. If the two learned not to cross those lines so much and figure out a way to balance each other out, the world could actually figure out some sort of stability and humanity might be a whole lot better for it. But since they don't, the war still rages and the possible real threat to humanity is left free to do whatever she wants. Of course, that's just what I think.

Well...There is a Ubisoft game called XIII (which I played on PS2) which was a fps game that was designed kinda like a comic book. The game had a group of conspirators who wanted to overthrow the government. It also had stealth mechanics in it. I've also noticed that a lot of Ubisoft games had throwing knives. I don't thing it's relevant but it's just something that I noticed was very common for a lot of their games. I'm also going to point out some things I noticed in Far cry 5. The first one is that the cult is pretty similar to the Templars. They found out ways to use drugs to manipulate and control people and not only that but the cult's own symbol is very similar to the red cross that the Templars had.

I know for a fact that the Tom Clancy’s are in the same universe because Ghost Recon. In Wildlands it has a mission involving Sam Fisher and a mission a little later involving Rainbow Six operators. Obvious. Yet earlier in the Rainbow Six series, the second one to be exact. There is a mission with a NSA agent(If you haven’t read the books or paid attention to the story. 4e and 3e are a branch of the NSA) when the guy has a full black outfit with the OPSAT and he uses the 5.7(Standard issue for 3e and 4e) and he had NVG’s. Obvious a noticeable theory but it’s still something I find cool

To answer Rayman. In Watch_Dogs, The Gang hideout known as Rossi Freemont, contains an arcade game of Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon which was developed by Ubisoft in their own universe like how AC was created by Abstergo in said universe. Rayman and the Rabbids that also appears in W_D, are considered just games like Blood Dragon. FYI, the Rabbids are hackable minature Animatronics.

WeeklyClips141 what you said reminds me of a triangle of easter eggs betwen PoP trilogy, Splinter Cell Chaos theory (iirc) and rayman: In PoP WW after you kill the empress, you are chased by Dahaka a few times, in a row. During one of the chases you can find a rack of weapons that will drop you a 4 fingered white glove that resembles Rayman's hand. On top of that In Chaos theory, during the mission in the skyscraper with lots of computers on desk you can hear 2 guard mentioning PoP the two thrones as a game, and saying that one of them has heard that is awsome. Also in Rayman legends there are some levels where you are attacked by toads wearing splinter cell outfits.

Alex Dagos I still don't get it. The only two Rayman games I've played is the one where in the beginning Globox runs off with your hands. And the other one is I think Rayman 2? You start in a pirate ship and you have to rescue Li (some sort of Lum Queen or something.) And never finished either of them, (they were rented). I can't remember anything past the tutorial of the one where Globox has your hands, and the only thing I remember about Rayman 2 is Globox's annoying kids (Hurry up Rayman! We want our Daddy back!). In AC Odyssey, there are Sam Fisher's goggles in Layla's room in London which places AC and Splinter-Cell in the same universe.
