Some things missed : -did you know that if you write "butcher" when Amanda ask who we wanna go see, she freaked out and is extrimely scared to hear this name; looks like the butcher may be one of Hamlet's scientist who maked Rebecca into what she is now... (there are other words such as "Rebecca" or so that trigger a reaction, but it is the same as the ones you said) -did you know that if you let the possum take the coin, amanda will find in the couch more coins, giving her 2 coins that, at the end, she can keep instead of going on the train with no money -if you don't take the tape from the monster's hand, he will get annoy and let it fall (or trow it at you i don't remember)

I actually think the possum might be *Sam*. Wooly isn't very paternal to Amanda, he attempts to keep the show on track, which seems like something an employee of Hamlin would be more invested in. Possums are well known for playing dead, and we know that Sam disappeared and was perhaps presumed dead, which would tie into that idea. Plus, the possum didn't show up in the first game and only now seems to be disrupting things, now that Wooly is gone. I think it might be trying to communicate with her. It also appears in the trailer to be haunting her, which is a fitting role for her father.

I know this has nothing to do with the lore. But am I the only one that notices how the animation has changed? Like Amanda is moving more like jumping off the couch, and moving her arms and hands, and jumping around, I think it’s really cool how the animator is making her act more like a child then in the other demo’s and game where she mostly stands in place and barely moves.

Hey Tom, A game I think u should cover is ‘Sally Face’ it’s a indie horror game but it’s really great and full of lore. It went viral a few years back and I’m pretty sure matpat played it on GtLive about 6 years ago but I don’t think he ever did a theory on it, It might be random but I think it would be really great to cover it and u might even bring the fandom back. I also thought about that as in the context, both find and bind both work. bind works because the demon and/or leader the company tried to bind rebecca/amanda but didn't fully succeed, but they got sam and will come after the player for investigating. and find works because sam was looking for rebecca, and the demon/company is looking for the player and its possible that sam/wooly notices you helping and so he tries to find you as well

8:08 A small detail from this scene that I feel isn't talked about enough is the way Wooly reacts, cause I feel like it actually debunks the theory that he's Sam. If he really is Sam, then why would he express shock upon hearing the name and then gesture to us not to say it? (he shakes his head at us right before the scene cuts) Whoever Wooly is, he seems to know who Sam is but doesn't want us to mention him for some reason.

The scene in the first game where Amanda drugs Wooly was the kicker that made it seem for sure that he wasn't Sam. Her giving him a drink and saying along the lines of "It's all a game, isn't it Wooly?" seems more like revenge and a role reversal- maybe an anesthesiologist or something. Even the fact of him being a sheep/lamb there to "pull the wool" over her eyes, shown by his reaction to anything connecting to Rebecca. He was sure upset when we helped her remember Kate...

Yes, that would be possible doesnt make much sense since in the game roosters symbolizes sam. And amanda sold mr.rooster to get her money for the train when the possum took her money, this would most likely symbolize Rebecca giving up on the memory of sam and giving up to Hamlen because the company were the only ones to be left responsible of her, hence with rebbeca at their side they used her ,probably told her that if she does what they say, they'll be rich, promising Rebbeca things she'd want. Rebbeca wanted to find sam, thats why she 'sold mr.rooster' or gave up sams memory and signed the contract because they promised her travel, finding friends or even better yet. . finding sam. Which if she asks who you would go to, and you answer sam she'd have a shocked reaction, because thats who she wanted to go to, sam. Maybe sam is in one of the places amanda wanted to go to, like london or paris or mexico, thats probably why she was so eager on going on a trip. So 2 things worth bringing up that Tom missed. 1. Wooly is in this demo, kind of. When you click on all the wrong toys before the rooster to sell, they're replaced in the last screen by clumps of wool. 2. If the opossum is meant to represent Hamlin, it's worth pointing out if you DON'T fight it off when it steals your money, you get MORE money than you started with after checking the sofa cushions.

You missed the most common detail of the opossum - they play dead. That means it can be either someone we already think is gone and dead, or if we think we defeat the opossum he can still come back. Combined with the fact that they're trying to stop the "story" Amanda is telling - she's scared but that's not actually a bad thing. Perhaps it is the player or one of those other investigators mentioned from the first game, and she's still trying to help.

Next Amanda theory you should add: In the true ending The masked figure/Joanne would say "All I wanted to do was get Jordan back" But in Amanda The Adventurer (not the second one or the very very old one) There’s a bulletin board that says Mrs Park Blah blah blah then it says "My brother Jordan went missing poof gone!" It shows that both games are connecting the lore add that theory to the next Amanda theory! I think it’s a good one.
