Always like having a conversation with game wardens and sheriff fishing. Had the sheriff and game warden called on me by some prick while fishing the wildlife area and I was fishing someone spot and he told me to leave I told him it's a public wildlife area I don't have to move while we waited on the warden and sheriff I caught 4 nice channels. When they finally got there this guy told them a line of crap and little did he know I went to high school with deputy who made sure I had my fishing license but when they went to check for his he didn't have it and he had a cooler with a aerator running in the bed of his truck with bait fish in it so he got busted for being in possession of the bait fish without a fishing license. I was listening when they ran his name turns out he had is fishing and hunting privileges revoked for like a year or two so they arrested him and I went back to fishing.
@KatrinEgilsdottir2 жыл бұрын
Arrested for fishing... atrocious!! They should all be ashamed and you shouldn't be proud that they stepped on his God given right to fish just because he was mean to you and he shouldn't have tried to tell you how to live your life either... those mindsets are why society is the way it is now. A lisense to fish or hunt is quite possibly the most immoral thing imaginable. "Either buy our food or pay to hunt the food that God put here for everyone"... they charge you for something that isn't theirs in the 1st place. Game wardens need to get a real job that is actually productive to society instead of leeching around charging people for idiotic fishing lisenses and telling others how to live their lives.

@@KatrinEgilsdottir for one wasn't proud of it, for two wasn't going be bullied by some asshole, for three he's the one that called them not me, for four I didn't really care about him being mean to me I just kept fishing while he was being a Karen. I also don't think you get the concept of the importance of game wardens, and the purchasing of hunting and fishing licenses. The purchasing of hunting and fishing license goes towards wildlife conservation, state parks, state forest, and wildlife areas. The game wardens job is to prevent poaching, over fishing and hunting.
@Foust742 жыл бұрын

@@KatrinEgilsdottir If we didn’t have Game Wardens, there would be no regulations or wildlife left for others to enjoy. Maybe he should have gotten a real job instead of driving around hassling people if he was worried about people fishing. Game wardens and rangers always act holier than thou and nose into business that isn't theirs. A lisense to fish is immoral and asinine... nobody should be able to charge you for something that doesn't belong to them in the 1st place. All critters were put here by God for us to use freely... not so some pompous ass can charge you to fish. They claim it is to stop overfishing, lol... If they really cared about that they would make it against the rules, not charge you to do it.

@@KatrinEgilsdottir the licencing organizations manage the public waterways , enforce water quality and usage regulations, stock the most popular species of game fish (trout, bass, crappie, and some others) clean up and reintroduce wildlife to polluted areas ,purchase lands for public use, and yes enforce creel limits. Why don't you spend your time countering some actually significant government waste instead of targeting one of the very few government organizations where you can literally see your tax dollars and fees being used for the national benefit. Elk again roam the great smokey mountains due to licensing fees (even a hunting season on them in Kentucky!) , all the deer in the east are the result of a wildly successful reintroduction program. More trout are raised in DNR hatcheries and released for sportsman to catch than are naturally bred in America's rivers.

My favorite lure to fish with in waters like that is a very lightweight gold panther Martin gold and black I should say throw It across an upstream let it drift on a tight line where you can feel the blade spinning till it gets down to the end of the drift and then reel it in double cross and let it drift again I've caught a lot of smallmouth bass a lot of trout this way
@harrydick3300 Жыл бұрын
I too was a panther Martin fan until I found out about thunder mist lures spinners, they don't bend like panther Martins and they cast a mile... Check them out man I'm serious it will change your fishing success. I got tired of rusty panther Martins that bend or the blade doesn't work right. I catch hundreds of trout a year and am a professional angler not a weekend warrior so I need things that last and are quality, forgot to mention they have better hooks than the panther Martins. I'm not affiliated with them at all they are out of Canada and used their years of manufacturing experience and love for fishing to make their own lures and terminal tackle.
