GAME WARDEN gave me TICKET for "Gray Area" RULE...

This was an awesome day with Isaac, Macie Molly and Emory on the weekend before July 4th. We got out late after church and it was busy with boat traffic and fisherman. We caught some good fish and had some really funny, hilarious moments. After I got thirsty and realized I left some waters in the truck I went back to the truck and there was a game warden waiting on me. She said I was illegally parked in the spot reserved for NC Wildlife. The spot is 25 feet wide and only has 1 sign on the far right side (which made me think they have 1 spot). I had parked where I was for years and never had another Game Warden warn me or ticket me. There were no lines drawn in the spot or anywhere in the parking lot for that matter and she gave me a warning ticket. I told her that it needs to be marked way clearer that they have 2 reserved spots and not 1.

The point about being a guide was simply, I've been out there over 2,500 times and I have had run ins with dozens and dozens of other officers for over decade and NONE of the other officers have EVER said a thing about that parking spot. I assure you I think of myself as a normal ass dude with a normal ass career, (not I'm better than everyone cause I'm a guide... that's mental lol) the point was I've been doing it a long time and never had problem until this moment.

I was hit on Lake Lucas, 300arce pay Lake owned by city of Asheboro NC, which is 15hp limit, so yes, they even have jon boats for smaller Lakes, wrote a ticket for dirt in fire extinguisher nozzle.

Unless I don’t understand your emoji, it means that you don’t have any privilege the ordinary person has to enjoy. It’s posted and it’s posted clearly. There’s no gray area. You aren’t to park there unless you’re an agency officer. Period. It doesn’t say unless you know somebody, or have guided for a decade. It’s not public parking and you are the public. You got a warning not a fine. You deserved a fine. I would have been fined. And, then you use KZbin to claim it’s a gray area? Be responsible and park where you’re supposed to…where the rest of us park. You’re about to lose respect for what you do unless you respond the way a responsible professional would respond. Think about it, sir. This is coming from a retired resource officer that would have fined you monetarily.

@kevinulery1718 💯 truth!!! I would have given him a ticket just from his comments and attitude. If it's clearly marked then he shouldn't park their PERIOD!! There were clearly other spots to park in!! He just thinks he's above everybody else cause he's "guided for over a decade" who cares the same rules apply to him as everybody else!!

It’s NOT clearly marked. I knew I knew I knew I should have showed what it looks like in the video. Unless you’ve seen it and launched from that EXACT ramp you don’t know. It’s a huge wide area with one tiny sign on the FAR right side which looks like they have one single designated spot. She LITERALLY agreed with me, and once again, she is the first officer in 10 years to give grief about it EVERY OTHER officer treated it like another parking spot open to the public. My point about guiding was, I’ve been out there 250 times a year for 10 years ran into 100’s of officers and not one has ever said 💩 until her. If it was CLEARLY marked I’m sure I would’ve been fined but she literally agreed with me haha! Y’all crack me up 😂😂🤣😂🤣😂

She was cool, but that specific parking area is terribly marked. It’s a 25ft wide spot with 1 small sign on the far right side which looks like 1 single WRC parking spot and an open to the public parking spot. She admitted it’s definitely confusing.

I've enjoyed watching and learning from your channel content and have traveled 90+ miles to your tackle shop several times. But I have to say you came across as intideled in this video. Public ramps don't provide private reserved parking for anyone, even a guild on a family outing.

You totally missed the context to which I said that. I was trying to say “I’ve been here thousands of times with dozens and dozens of wardens and not one has had a problem with me or anybody parking there for over a decade until this very moment.” I think you as a viewer have a high esteem for guides (or me) and assume I think of myself in some grandiose light, so you assume I hold myself in that esteem. I assure you, I’m just a normal dude with a normal career. If she was giving crap to a “non guide” about the same situation I would have also called her out on the fact it’s poorly marked and not clear at all. Has literally nothing to do with me being a guide.

She did nothing wrong....its her job. Just because somebody is a "guide" and makes videos does not put them in a different postion than the rest of us. I am never a fan of being condescending to law enforcement...

@@Frostin_Austin The entire incident was "recorded" so it would get views on your you tube channel. "Click Bait" ....a sad commentary on today's society. You could have easily taken the "high road" by not recording her and speaking to her in a respectful manner off the camera. She is/was just trying to do her job. Sad and disrespectful that this is what becoming a "youtuber" has become. Our officers, whether wildlife or police, put up with enough "crap" from people, yet we continue to put "cameras in their faces". I have fished this lake for about 18 years and the only boats/vehicles I have ever seen in the spot are the wildlife officers and yours. The reputation of being above everyone else because you think you know the lake better and are a guide "precedes" this incident. Hopefully you have learned from it.

Yeah I said there are spots over there so I could move my truck lol. But it was ridiculous, you obviously missed the part that I’ve parked there with other wild life officers in that neighboring spot and they’ve not said a thing to me or anyone. But thanks for the comment 😂👊🏽

She should have been giving tickets to wakeboats. Those 30 foot boats that should not EVEN BE IN A 1600 ACRE LAKE. She had you cold turkey dude, she check your license? She could make a fortune checking pontoons. Most of them have a pole or rod and reel BUT NO FISHING LICENSE. THEY ALSO COULD NOT PASS A SAFE BOATING QUESTION. They want 76 year old disabled veterans to buy license. Plenty of fools parking IN launch area. She has a terrible job having to wear ALL THAT GEAR! Didn't wear that much in combat in USMC. HAVE A SAFE 4TH. PS worry about Alex with those ship size wakes.
