Haha yeah, the pictures on the instructions aren’t great, so there is some redoing I have had to do before. But I love that the bags are split up for all the pieces and everything is labeled nicely! Thanks for watching

I have a couple of these, here's some tips. A full size blind fits PERFECT over the top. Cheaper than the accessory kit. And also, tie each leg down with a ground anchor or it WILL blow over. They blow over super easy. Also add cross braces so the legs don't fold inward if it was to blow over.
@ZManOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the tips! I did anchor both of mine down because they are a bit top heavy, figured it was needed. Great idea on blind. Are you saying like the typical ameristep 2 man blind fits over it? Do you tie it to stand or anything to keep it there?

So which blind do you use
@nextgenfishing4403 Жыл бұрын
@@andrewsmith941 I use a couple of different kinds. One of them is a rhino 150. But most blinds are about that same size. So find one on sale at Walmart and buy it.

Was this stand discontinued? Can’t find a replacement blind kit in stock anywhere.

I don’t think so. The blind kits never seemed to get great reviews, so maybe they discontinued that?

I have 1 but a tree clipped 1 of the bottom legs bent it a little do you know by chance the height from the bottom platform to ground by chance I’m gonna try to rebrase it because it’s not bad ..I don’t know if you have the canopy the cover for your but invest in it 100 bucks worth it and get you some carpet Fromm dollar store 10 bucks
@ZManOutdoors3 жыл бұрын
Yeah it’s just over 10’, so I would think assuming 10’ should be good. I put some rubber mats on the bottom. Didn’t think about carpet, but I may switch to that, good tip! How long have you had the canopy, do you take it off in between seasons? I’ve heard good and bad things about it
@mikemarks65623 жыл бұрын
@@ZManOutdoors the canopy has been on there since last year it’s still perfect I just need to go up there with 12ft 2x4’s and get it stable getcha the canopy worth it I didn’t think of padding I just saw the carpet just cut a slit in the carpet and slide it in

Would would you rate the seats? 1-10
@ZManOutdoors3 жыл бұрын
It’s better than most tree stand seats. They don’t squeak when you turn or anything. They are pretty comfy. If sat all day sits in them before. I have seen people remove the seat stand and just put a chair up there or something else. I personally don’t have any issues with the seats though
@woodrowpimp3 жыл бұрын
Agree, the seats are comfy I take them down every time after hunting because I don’t want to ruin the material out in the weather Sometimes I’ll just bring a fold up chair

I am not sure if they offer that service, but I would imagine it’s $150 or so to have someone put it together for you. Maybe more since it takes 3-4 hours to do it. It’s really not too bad to put together. The directions are better than most, and the bags being labeled makes it really easy to get the correct hardware for the step!

Do you think the stand is sturdy enough to withstand cows rubbing against it? Great video by the way!
@ZManOutdoors3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! That’s a good question. I think if you stake it down good, it probably could. But I guess it probably depends how hard they hit it. The legs are pretty sturdy so I can’t imagine they would bend them. I am sure the hogs hit mine, but they aren’t nearly as big as a cow haha.
@connorbryant3 жыл бұрын
@@ZManOutdoors thanks man, I have a ton of hogs at my feeder right now and want a simple blind to set up so I can get rid of them so the deer will come to it more. We have alot of cows on our land and they've already rubbed my camera a few times haha.
@ZManOutdoors3 жыл бұрын
Yeah I’ve had issues with cameras on some properties where cows knock them off and smash them haha. Learn pretty quick to raise those up higher. I think this blind would work fine. If you hide it behind some trees or something. Or even just get the camo kit that covers it up. You should have no problem picking off the pigs

I’ve had mine up for a year now around cows I put the legs on some concrete blocks and staked it down with the stakes that come with it Cows haven’t touched it
