I know quite a few people who don't like DKC all that much, while loving other Nintendo platformers, so youìre not the only one :D As for me, I love DKC games. The soundtrack undoubtedly plays a big role, I don't think those games would have the same charm without David Wise's scores.

I'm guessing other people thought you did this one already because you covered other great songs from the DKC games. And usually people tend to do covers first of this or Aquatic Ambiance. Anyway I'm glad you got around to doing this one too. And that intro with the drums sounds straight out of DKC Returns, which did a great job bringing this song back too. Thanks for the amazing work. :D

Thanks for supporting the channel! With this arrangement I tried to pick elements from the original version as well as the one from DKCR. I also considered taking inspiration from the Tropical Freeze version, but then I scrapped the idea because its mood is a little too different from the original and I wanted my cover to stay consistent. I still like that version a lot though!

I actually use a lot of different VSTs for my tracks. Drums are Native Instruments, while the rest is a mix of different Kontakt libraries.
