its because the noise was originally meant to be a playable character but was dropped pretty late in development before being finished much later. noise chan has the same support since she uses his sprite sheet. they did announce her and the vigil as future playable characters.

It really should be brought on as official at this point. I'd love for Peppina to be made canon. If not just to have a wild female protagonist, something sorely missing from the 90s era of gaming despite us really wishing for it. Kind of like they did with Coco Bandicoot retroactively being playable in the first 3 Crash games in N-sane trilogy and they really played PERFECTLY to giving her a wild and silly personality fitting with Crash's but in her own adorable way. She's still smart, but likes to let loose and have fun doing the same dances. Though that really started with The Titans game where they experimented wtih giving her a more wild and kooky personality and it fit like a glove and made her so much more loveable. At least Anton is doing that. Definitely need more female protagonists who aren't afraid to be wild and zany.

Huh, well, this was very interesting, you covered this very well. I gotta say, this Mod just looks and feels better and better by every Update, the little details by the end there were some nice touches too, so could you then play as the Noise in the Original Version of this Game too then? Anyway, granted there’s still some stuff to figure out, like the Intro still needs some work (depending on what they are going for with it), some of the Character Animations might some more updates like when Peppina goes into the Pizza Portal among other things and also, about that Final Screenshot, wouldn’t make more sense for Gustava to be the one who pats Peppina on the back rather than Gustavo like in the original Game? But hey these kinds of stuff just makes me look forward to Future Updates, I can’t to see how this will eventually look. By the way, what i really like about this Mod, is that these Female Variants are not just supposed to be Gender-swapped versions of the Original Characters, they are actually supposed to their own Characters that just so happen to have some kind of relation to the their Original Equivalents, Speaking of which, can I get a rundown of just what kind of relation are each of these Female Equivalents supposed to have with their Original Counterparts again? I’ve forgotten.

I think that this mod actually does that what other female version mods can't and it's making female protagonist version actually fitting in orginal one character and look because many of those are mostly oversexualized or made too much anime character like (in bad meaning of that word)

The only thing that needs a re-polish is Peppina’s screaming sprite for the start of boss battles. Everything else is perfect. AKA, have some more body-breaking in her animations, LIKE THE ONE WE SEE IN THE PHASE TRANSITION DURING NOISE-CHAN'S FIGHT. THAT IS PERFECT, I WANT MORE OF THAT.
