The ‘Gentleman of Games Way’ to build a free collection:
Step 1: Hunt down games anywhere you can find them, remember to check them to make sure they are all in good condition.
Step 2: Where possible use the CEX App to ensure you get more cash than what you are about to pay, otherwise use your skills and gaming knowledge to find the bargains.
Step 3: Use the CEX App to find out what cash value our High street overloads will give you for all your recently hunted games in total. Make sure CEX will give you more (or at least) the same cash that you spent on your newly found games before you get to the store.
Step 4: Remember to set aside the games you want to keep and enjoy for your own free games collection. Ensuring that the cash return of the other games going to CEX will cover what you spent on the games you are keeping, and that's the key to making the collection FREE.
Step 5: Walk into your local CEX, be kind and polite, and exchange your games for cash. If your bundle is worth more cash than what you spent you decide if you want; more cash for future hunts, or a voucher to buy any specific games you want in your collection.
Step 6: Rinse and repeat forever and ever to build and enjoy a gaming collection to keep you and your loved ones constantly entertained and enjoying gaming for the rest of your days.

You made me think about games from my childhood I haven't thought about for a while! These are the most memorable ones for me: - Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 - Kirby's Dream Land - Mortal Kombat II - Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins - Deja Vu I & II (point-and-click game) - Bugs Bunny in Crazy Castle 4 Wario Land is #1. Loved that game, definitely recommended. Like you, I also have great memories of Kirby's Dream Land. Perfect length/difficulty at my age. And I got into Tetris later on, but it was the only game my gran played (she was chuffed to get 60+ lines!), so I still have fond memories about the GB version.

Great to hear the video made you reminisce, especially about good times with your nan 👵 kirby's dream land is just behind the pokemon series for me some great memories I like warioland on the Wii never tried it on the game boy but think it's on my retro pi so I'll give it a go 🤘

Great video. Love the Gameboy. My favourite system then and now. Still pick it up most despite game quality. I'm fortunately to still have all the games I had growing up, but like with your collection that wasn't very many. Maybe 7 or 8.

Game boy is going back quite far now really, late 80s to 90s, don't come across them often... look after the 2 you have they are getting on a bit 😅🤘

Links Awakening one of my all time and top Zelda game. Still got my original copy, sadly the save battery has went after nearly 25 years losing all my save files and unable to save. But im pleased to have the remake on the Switch

I need to give the remake a go, looks great. That's a shame about the battery, I have seen videos replacing them doesnt look too bad, but you risk breaking a valued item to you 🤔🤘

I spent the big bucks and got an analogue pocket 😅 £300 later ... 👀 but i really wanted to play pokemon on cartridges and actually be able to trade! Got fresh batteries in them too so gonna go for a complete pokedex on yellow and just beating kanto in Crystal atm

Oh nice 😅 pricey... OMG forgot to mention the battery situation with them, 4 batteries and gone after about 2 hours 😅 I think I need to have another go on them soon... big nostalgia hit 🤘

Gameboy for me was my first "console". My brother had a blue gameboy pocket (which I recently found and fixed) and one day in the snow outside our house mum found pokemon blue and asked all the parents if their kid lost the game they all said no so my brother ended up getting it and I wanted to play it so bad so for my 7th birthday I got the grape purple gameboy and pokemon red and I still say it was my best birthday. The year after got pokemon silver for Christmas and when I even think about that game I shoot back to my grannies house late at night playing and staring at the box art. The nail stand I think is the best way and cheap for £5
