Great video mate, my local cash Convertors are too clued up on their games and put them at ebay prices 🙄 Have found a few on my travels that are decent tho and had some good finds but I don't visit them regularly as they are too far away unfortunatly 🙄 Great series again and can't wait to see your end of year video with what you got overall and what you got with your voucher credit 😊

Backyard Wrestling 2 was brilliant when I was a kid and I actually got mine from cash converters for 99p many many years ago. Gone are the days I can do that now. Said it before you're very lucky your cash converters isn't as clued up. Tony Hawks Underground 2 is probably the best one in the series imo. Juiced 2 was brilliant too.

Half-life came out on ps2 with some exclusive content - think it's been nodded into the pc version now. A dreamcast version was also in development and I think games media got previews but I don't recall it actually releasing commercially. Half-life 2 is an interesting curio but it runs very badly on xbox - it's visually downgraded and doesn't perform at all well. Interesting to play and have for history but not the way to play it if you have a choice.

You get flagged if your selling multiples of the same product. And/or if your talking about being a trader to the staff. Best advice is to just create a new account with them.

TBH no, they know what I do regarding carboots as to why I go there so often but maybe because I traded in so little for cash and really just get voucher they may not see me as a trader... maybe just a thought 🤔

I also loved James Pond as a kid. And yes, the PS2 version is the same game. You should have a gander at its Wikipedia page. It makes the milking of Skyrim look modest in comparison!

@ I’m surprised so it’s inside , usually in a hall or community centre and u have tables with items on them to sell, like a car boot sale but inside, maybe it’s a Scottish term I don’t know, so I’m going to Scotland next Friday and car boot sales r finished were I’m from I typed in table top sales in the area and they have 1 on the Sunday lm there happy days

@gentlemanofgames I built a shelving unit especially for them. I spent ages working out case sizes and space required for them. I even took into account case variants like the double boxes and such.

CeX growing is not something to be happy about. It reflects the state of the UK economy. People are looking to sell things quickly in order to afford their groceries or perhaps their utility bills. And looking to buy used things because they don't have the money for new. It's also a hot spot for theives who sell their stolen, non traceable items. I've seen people go into a CeX shop and sell their flagship phone because they are now using a dumb phone and can't afford the data charges of a smartphone. It's so sad. When I first came to the UK for a visit in 1999, the economy was great and the cities were crowded with shoppers. Now all i see is foreign owned vape shops, chicken shops, charity shops and mobile phone shops. When I came back to the UK, in 2022... It shocked me how much it has changed. Hardly anyone speaks english fluenty, all the shops are ran by eastern european people and the crime levels are sky high. Such a shame.

Economy has been in the gutter for a long time now unfortunately 😥 CEX do need a competitor as a monopoly is never a good thing but maybe others with the capital to compete on the high street do not see a future in the physical media or high street. Online has changed the way we shop and the English being entitled to own what they cannot afford has been a problem with the countries culture since the 1950s 😥

100% agree with you on Game. I've got memories of me and my brother going in and each getting a game on the 2 for £20 or 2 for £30 in the pre owned section in the 2000's. We'd run home and game all weekend. That version of Game doesn't exist anymore it is all brand new stuff (they stopped doing pre owned earlier this year) and toys, trading cards, plushies etc. Here in the UK we need more physical video game shops otherwise it will slowly die off.

Some of the Adventure time games are kind of like 16bit Zelda clones. A Link to the Past and the like. They are very good underrated games. Dare I say hidden gems... sigh I said it.
